Who would play the Pokemon Characterz?

Let'z juzt zay they zomehow managed to make a live action(not animated) Pokemon movie. Which actorz and actrezzez do you think would play which (human)characterz?
Obviouzly there arn't many celebritiez in the age range of the main characterz zo you'll probably have to azzume thiz movie takez place when they're older ^^;;

I think Ash would be played by thiz...Ricky Ulmen fellow XP I really don't know who he iz but I've zeen the big picture in Sayuri no Hoshi'z zignature and he zeemz to have the right hair and face.

Hilary Duff just better not be Misty, that's all I know -_-;; I don't think there are any actors out there that could portray them all that well...they could never even get close to the voices that the VAs have made for them...

I dunno, the Ricky Ullman part waz juzt kind of a joke but I can zort of zee zimilaritiez ^^;;

I would hope not too Kaga, Not only would the hair color differance be a bit of a problem but I don't think I've ever zeen Hillary Duff angry and whoever playz Misty would have to be able to voice *cough* her temper =P

Come to think of it, I think that this would be best left to the Japanese...they know more about pokemon than we do and I'm sure they could do it in a manner more befitting of the show...and we could still get the American VAs to dub over them, even though that'd be a little bit weird...

Or else it could have nothing to do with Ash and co., which would be interesting...I'm sure it'll be for kids instead of teens though, which means the quality of the storyline and attention to detail would be greatly lessened -_-;;

Funny you should say that, Teara, lol. Ricky Ullman does look like he could be an Ash; but, I don't know if he's capable of acting out Ash's personality. It just doesn't seem like him, heh. And plus, everyone'd be expecting Ash's scratchy dub voice...which Ricky does not have due to the effects of puberty...lol. ^_^; I think he could make a good Brock...although, Ricky's kind of short...heh, but his hair style in this pic from a "Phil of the Future" promo commercial looks exactly like Brock's hair:

He could make Brock's suave ways, but that also seems so unlike all of the characters Ricky has done already, lol. He made a great Peter Brady (in that "Growing Up Brady" TV movie), though! ^_~ And, I e-mailed that webmistress of the Ricky Ullman site Kayleigh mentioned (which--how funny--has been down ever since I e-mailed her)...just to find out where she got her information about the Pokemon Live-Action movie/series a while back, but she never got back to me. Who knows, she was probably lying because I can't find that info anywhere--and I'm sure they'd start promoting it by now. *shrugs* Only time will tell. ^_^ Oh, and Chairman Kaga, I hope Hilary isn't Misty, either. She's waaaaaay too nice to play a bratty girl like Misty, heh. Lindsay Lohan *dives into a ditch and peers up cautiously* ... looks like she'd fit the role. She's got the red hair and I can see her condescending Ash and dragging Brock away by the ear...^_^;

And well, I think that it would be better for all of the characters, except Brock, to be played by caucasion people. I don't mean that in a racist way, but they really don't look Japanese at all. ^_^; All except for Ash's black hair and Brock's eyes, but Misty... She looks the farthest thing from it, lol.
