at first sight you'd really guess some sort of chest here, but everything was a bit off the shape and / or colour ... I almost gave up for the day when my halve desperate brain noticed that pattern on the leg there^^

The colour doesn't look similar at all to me ;-;

Thats how I ruled out Sandshrew - I think the pattern was backwards for it. :/
