Who's that Pokemon? (SUPER SPECIAL SUPER UPDATE 5/8/24)

hmm... not entirely sure whether or not to exclude the mons that evolve from a regional form. Probably still counts as a regional form? Marked them in red for now.
Spoiler:

Let's see... Mostly pink or purple shiny.
Spoiler:

Kinda leaning towards Dottler/Orbeetle, Gossifleur/Eldegoss and Sinistea/Polteageist atm. Provided there's no errors with the shiny trim.

Is it a Grass or Ghost type?

Is it a Grass or Ghost type?
Answer #11: No, not a Grass or Ghost type.

Free information: Counts Pokemon like Obstagoon, Sirfetch'd, Perrserker, and so on as regional forms. Acknowledges this to be a kind of gray area. Refers to Perrserker as "Galarian Perrserker" in the Trading Card Game. Needs to be a regional form to evolve into a regional evolution. Still feels like a regional form.
Is it normal or dark type?
Answer #12: No, not a Normal or Dark type.

All information
  • In the Medium Fast experience type group.
  • Mostly pink or purple shiny.
  • Not legendary or mythical.
  • Introduced in Generation 8.
  • Not a Water, Ice, Grass, Ghost, Normal, or Dark type.
  • Not a regional form

Gonna keep the split between the list with and without the 'mostly pink or purple' shiny criteria just in case.

Spoiler:

Mostly pink or purple shiny.
Spoiler:

Assuming I didn't mess up with the shiny color assessment, it should be a 50-50 between Dottler and Orbeetle now.

Is it Orbeetle ?

Answer #13: Correct, the Seven Spot Pokemon. Posts the shiny here, for anyone curious:
[PokeCommunity.com] Who's that Pokemon? (SUPER SPECIAL SUPER UPDATE 5/8/24)

Justifies purple because of the clear blue on its face. (Bonus: Some pink on it too.) Split about 75/25 in the Reddit poll, also. Could have declined to answer. Hated to do so without a reason. Provided information either way.

Hands over control to you, if you want it.

Will save any odd questions for later. Delivers very scattershot results. Takes a while to narrow down what remains.
_________

Not including Mega evolutions, can this Pokemon evolve at least once more?

Yes.

Does this pokemon have a gimmick form? eg, mega, gigantamax.

No.

Is this Pokemon the first in its evolutionary line?

No.

Does this pokemon have 3 stages?

Assuming you mean 'is it part of a 3 stage line'; yes.

Does not have a gimmick form. eg, mega, gigantamax.
Is not the first in its evolutionary line.
Is part of a 3 stage evolutionary line.

Leaves only middle evolution Pokemon. Probably narrows it down quite a bit. Prefers to knock out some generations before figuring out the list. Cuts down on the time spent picking out individual Pokemon.
__________

Was this Pokemon introduced in Generation 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Nope.

Is it water type?

Also no.
