Who's that Pokemon? (SUPER SPECIAL SUPER UPDATE 5/8/24)

Decided to try the spin "Category Confusion". Picked a Pokemon from among the categories in the first post [Quick link]. Did not pick an alternate form of any Pokemon, unless explicitly listed. (Example: Lists Rattata among the regional mammals. Cannot choose Alolan Rattata.) May not ask a question using the categories. Follows standard rules otherwise.

Go ahead and begin guessing.

Rules out the regional birbs/mammals and all pika clones except Mimikyu. Does not help a huge deal with the other categories, though there are some trims here and there like not being the legendary birbs.

Is it a Grass, Fire or Psychic type ?
Answer #2: No. Not a Grass, Fire, or Psychic type.
is it based on a vertebrate?
Answer #3: No. Not based on a vertebrate.

All information
  • Not an Electric, Normal, or Flying type.
  • Not a Grass, Fire, or Psychic type.
  • Not based on a vertebrate.

55 left based on just the type based answers. Did not look into the not being a vertebrate thing yet.

Spoiler:

Decent chunk of single typed Pokemon in there, though more so in the Bug part than the Dragon part. Still crosses off in both categories regardless of answer.

Is this Pokemon dual typed ?

Pretty big trim.

Is it part of a 3 stage evolution line ?

does it have a signature move?
Answer #6: No. Does not have a signature move.

Was hoping for a no there, but it still scrapped a couple.

Spoiler:

Not sure if no signature moves means no signature moves currently. Like Dratini/Dragonair had Outrage as a signature move way back in gen1, according to bulba's list.
With there being no Hisuian Goomy, Goomy seems to technically have one too. But only in Hisui... I'll just leave them in. Kinda assuming it means no signature move currently anyway.
Can't help but notice that Goodra is the only fully evolved option remaining.

Is it the first stage in it's line ?

Answer #8: Yes. Is the first stage in its evolutionary line.
is it a final evo?
Answer #9: No. Is not the final evolutionary stage of this Pokemon.

Spoiler:

Probably would've scrapped more with a no again.
Anyway...

Does it's name start with either B, C or D ?
Answer #10: No. Does not start with the letters B, C, or D.

5 left... kinda just wanna guess now... might be better to try and do 1 more trim...
... or try and guess which is the most likely not to be a vertebrate. Goomy is just a blob. Jangmo-o probably is a vertebrate.
Unfortunately all 3 remaining bugs are probably invertebrates.... So probably not Jangmo-o, but that leaves 4.

Is it Goomy ?
