Hoped for that to eliminate more than that. Knew it was a little light (thus, the Pikaclone addition). Included several mono-Fire types, though.
Will try something a little different. Tends to dislike asking these questions. May not always be super clear. Makes vague sense to try it, however.

Made a list. Argues it to be longer as it actually should be. Tried to be sparing in cutting Pokemon. Left the Regis in, who are probably not based on vertebrates. Compared Capsakid to kappas, which are probably reptiles, but eh. Did not know how to place something like Solosis and the later evolutions either. Never even bothered to look what some Pokemon, like the Lake Trio and Chikorita line, are based on. Left in a good number of kinda-plants too.
