Why am I up so late?

Haha. I know that feeling. Finish class and party later. Basic formula of any college student tbh haha. The only problem with me in morning classes is I have to wake up early which I rarely do btw. I've been a nocturnal fellow since my inception into college. So for me, personally, the night ain't that bad.

I believe there was an article that I read couple years ago that said students actually prefer scheduling morning classes versus night classes, but probably depends more if you're a morning person to begin with. I found staying awake during night classes was harder than morning ones \: But then again, those were 3 hour psychology lectures that were borderline hair-ripping if the professor was boring.

Oh really? Do you still have that article? (If its still up, that is) But yeah it depends on your personal preference. Well, 3 hours psychology lectures are hard but I'm a computer science major so I don't know that distinct feeling but I have a similar study in which it's 6 hours of assembly language(3 hours of lectures + 30 minutes break + 3 hours and 30 minutes of laboratory) which is pretty suicidal but It made me realize that the night class wasn't that bad, the view of the skyline made me forget all those lectures.

Unfortunately, I do not, not sure if it was even an article at this point or a simple graph, haha.

I'm somewhat into computer science myself, but more on the programming portion than theory. I find that university programs here focus on the use of theoretical learning than practical so I never considered taking the computer science program at my previous school. I enjoy that the college I attend allows you to be creative and learn through practice instead of shoving information into your head. But that's not to say I haven't had sleepless nights staying up late to study, only because I'm a chronic procrastinator c:

Otherwise I would have never needed those all-nighters.

Well, everyone is a procrastinator on their own right. It's not that bad at it seems at first but it seems illogical at the end since you're getting no sleep by coding a game using a programming language they used during WWII. I mean I made hangman in it. it was never worth it. AT ALL. And besides, what would you rather have? Do it before the deadline or procrastinate and rush it a day before the actual deadline. Of course its the latter :D

The time I have to get up often changes, and so the time I get up often changes too. When I have to be up at 6, I got to bed around 10. When I get up at 7, bed at 11. It doesn't always go like this, but I try to make it work. At weekends, I'll stay up until I feel like bed is a comfier place than at my computer. That goes on until around 2 on good days, but I've been in bed at 9 on weekends too. Depends how I'm feeling. I find I work better in the evenings and at night, and tend to procrastinate a lot more during the day and at work.

Oh god I spent time talking with PC staff (+ wakachamo) and it's almost 2 AM and I need to get up at 7 AM what am I gonna do
haha, I can relate. The things just want to be sorted, and it's so easy to get sidetracked because it's both your obligation and your interest. Been there.'

"How 'bout if..."

Rushing studying for psychology exams was not easy since I would immediately feel the desperate need to fall asleep within 5 minutes of starting to read...Words just make me tired, haha. But the sleep following an all-nighter has to be one of the best. Nothing better than falling right to sleep since you're so dead.

Again I do not know that distinct feeling but I have a similar experience in which I actually fell asleep on the test for the first 30 minutes and wake up with less than 20 minutes to finish the test and the great part is that it was a statistics test in whom I never study on. Sleeping on a test is great.
