Issue: Why can't I insert links?

Members can't post links of any kind in posts, and that includes using the Youtube tags, before they make (if I recall) 15 posts. The number may have been reduced to 5 recently, in which case I'm not sure what the issue is. I'll see if an admin can poke around to see what's up.

Well, I have 17 posts, so that shouldn't be the issue.


Say I want to share a Youtube video, I would copy and paste the link onto here, highlight the text, and click on that Wrap Youtube around selected text thing. It doesn't seem to work.
 
You dont use the entire youtube url, you only put the bit after the "="

So putting watch?v=CVOiXd0jWP8 in the youtube tags wont work, but putting in just the characters after the "=" sign will produce this

 
I'm trying, but the tags won't even show up. I'm clicking on the wrap tags button multiple times, but nothing happens...same issue with "Insert link".
 
Can you still type it yourself and have it work? Or is it an issue with posting as well as with the editor?
