Why Did You Join PokeCommunity?

    Well, why?




    I joined because I looked up shiny Pokémon things on a daily basis. I stumbled across the Shiny Hunter's Club and joined a week later. I never intended to post anywhere else in the entire Forum, but I guess I kinda changed that. It's amazing how the smallest things can lead to major changes in life. Speaking of odd change, isn't/wasn't there a staff member who merely joined for ShinyGold? xP
     
    Good question. It's not because of the games because I haven't played in awhile. I was looking for an anime forum at first and stumbled upon this site. Seemed active enough so I decided to join.
     
    Someone I was talking to on MSN Messenger linked me to the PokeCommunity and insisted that I join. Ironically, he became inactive on this forum around the time I joined . . .
     
    Yeah, I joined here just to download shiny gold, but I stayed here...I just keep exploring here and then I liked it. And I'm looking for a good forum for pokemon.
     
    Because the school blocked Serebii Forums and I needed an alternative so I chose this place which I like more than any other forum.
     
    1) The November prior, my home forum (Hyrule Town Square) was shut down and Nintendo replaced it with NSider. I didn't like NSider very much and was looking for something to replace it
    2) Knew Lightning from school
     
    Normally, I don't join forums...but there is no one in my area that likes Pokémon, so I finally decided to find a decent forum. After lurking in several forums for a while, I decided PC was the best choice out of all of them. I have loved it here ever since. Though, I find I post outside of the Pokémon sections now.
     
    ironically I joined to download ShinyGold. after that I just lurked for a year or so. I can't even remember that account anymore. I some how remembered this place a couple years ago and decided to see if there was anyone I recognized. so I looked up a couple people, most of which weren't here anymore so I went back to lurking for a few more months before becoming more active thanks to the DCC group last year. then I decided to donate my spare change gained a purple name for a while and then the rest is current history.

    I joined because quite simply I was looking for somewhere to post about Pokémon (Namely the earlier generations). A quick Google search revealed a list of forums, and I visited a few before eventually finding this place but none of them had the same appeal. PC seemed friendly and active and I liked the variety of discussions that were on offer, so I joined.
     
    To join the PC Wifi tournament. It started in May, and that's all I did until mid august when my friends and I started our own tournament, so I guess I had a reason to be more active. But yeah, Wifi battling is the main reason I joined. I have a lot more reasons to stay now =D
     
    Joined because I wanted to complete my Pokedex in Diamond so I browsed the Wi-fi forum. While waiting for trades, I just checked out the other forums in the meantime I posted in threads. Over time, I decided just to stay here.
     
    I joined because I was a little mad at one forum and Kyoko(aka Baka Tenshi, Haine Togu, Angela, etc..)told me about this place. I joined the Ash's Fan Club and I just fell close to this place ever since.
    And that particular forum(SPPf), they were totally strict that day. And I couldn't take it. When I seen this place was more laid back, I became more active here than the other forum. And then I gained a lot more friends, donated, and the rest is history. Oh yeah I was obsessed over the Pokemon anime as well. I been in that forum for awhile, but that day...grr. So that was when Kyoko aka Angela gave me that link.

    I started watching the Pokemon anime again, and I wanted people to talk to about it because no one I knew liked Pokemon XD
     
    I joined because I was looking to find a way to complete my pokédex. That and the fact that all the pokémon fans around where I live are either prepubescent or men in their 40's who are in it to 'meet people' *genuinely what one person I saw playing Pearl on the bus told me.* It was quite nice to join here and find fans around my own age who weren't creepy and to get so much closer to completing my pokédex.
