Why is everyone giving up on Pokemon

I can see your point. Especially about the megas. I was skeptical when they were announced. I was right to be. How would you change the game? I always thought more effectual choices would be great or do you mean the battle format?
 
well it's natural for people to grow out of things and not everyone is always pleased with the new pokemon that come out. On top of that the older generation of pokemon players are growing and don't really have the time to dedicate themselves to it anymore.

I still like it and I look forward to the new games, but I don't nearly have the time I used to have to play and keep up with it.
