I got an RNG'd Shiny Glameow and Skunky so people dare to do those :P

Try a Volbeat/Illumise :D

I'd love to get into RNGing, but for some reason I've kind of avoided it. I think I realize I'm the kind of person that would give up after like, an hour.

I've RNG'd all of those lol, Skuntank is very common in NU and mawile was just for fun, glameow was a request from a friend.

I'm still debating on making a summer trading shop or not...I need opinions lol.

Why isnt RNG considered Hacking?

To me its completely Un-fair and takes away the value of Rare Pokemon such as Shineies and Whatnot.It takes me about 2-3 weeks to IV breed a Pokemon that im going to raise and people can just Do it in like ten minutes and they will have a better IV'd and most likely Shiny Pokemon.

I Just dont understand why it ISN'T hacking because it is the Use of an external device to Create amazing Pokemon.

RNG isn't using any external devices. You're exploiting the game's mechanics to create whatever it is you're RNGing. What is meant by using external devices is actually using something to connect to your game and rewriting stuff. RNG has a program that you use, right, but it doesn't connect to the game or anything. It just tells you what to do and how many times to do it.

Nah, RNG is considered legit because it requires the use of an external computer program, not an external device. One does not need an AR to perform RNG abuse. ALSO, one technically does not need the program to calculate the seed/frame/delay/blah, if one is a relative of Einstein like moi.

If ya gonna ban the external program of the RNG Reporter, ye might as well ban the common internet resources and programs such as idk Bulbapedia, Metalkid, Serebii, Shoddy, etc. They help tell you where something is. A TM is at Route blah. A shiny is at frame 312. Woz. Me thinks.

Unfair, perhaps, but pre-RNG, anything with flawless IVs was generally considered impossible/hacked. At least RNG is refreshing for those perfectionists... Plus, I have done my years worth of IV breeding. Do not complain about a few weeks, mm? I still find RNGing difficult; I probably finish in a few hours, not 10 minutes, shame on me.
 
If RNG is considered hacking, then you might as well consider the Masuda Method hacking, imo.
 
So its all about how many times you tap/Flip those Poke Apps?

ok just seems weird to me...THe Pokemon just seem to good to be true.
