Well, if you have the money, go for the PS3...
The games are more expensive though, and you could a Wii and a few good games for the price of a PS3.
The Wii has Fire Emblem, Metroid, Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Galaxy, Okami (although that is also for the PS2)...
But the PS3 has inFAMOUS, Soul Calibur IV, LittleBigPlanet (one of my favorite games), and FFVII from the Playstation Network.
It is quite expensive though.

For me, it is a simple choice.
I own both and I haven't even turned on my Wii for at least a year now.
Waste of money.
