4th Gen Will it hurt my game?

    I just bought some pokemon GBA games from Ebay. I'm not for sure if they are real or not. Let's say that they are bootlegged games. If I send the pokemon from the "bootlegged" game up to Platinum version, will it harm Platinum's save file or anything? Thanks! (I really hope they're real though)

    But I don't really see how it would effect them, at the end of the day they're GBA games with legit Pokémon on, right?
     
    I don't think it will work.
    I have a bootleg Ruby and I can't take Pokémon from that and put it on Diamond, Pearl or Platinum. D:
     
    When I start up one of my DS games with my bootleg Emerald in my dual-slot, all save data of my Emerald's deleted. You should try migrating when you're not too far in the game to make sure that if you lose your data when trying to migrate, you won't lose too much and know that you shouldn't :)
