Will there be a 5th generation?

    It seems like Pokémon is summoning it all up now, giving an explanation to creation, Arceus, space and time, Palkia and Dialga, essence such as intelligence, emotion and willpower, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf.
    It seems like the most powerful (and rare) Pokémon are created the question is.
    Will there be a 5th generation? Remember that they renumber all Pokémon with each new generation.
    If not, will they use the 493 to create new games, manga and anime a long time from now on?

    Any thoughts?

    I think there will be a fith generation of pokemon. thell make a couple new games. a season or 2 then just cut it there(stop pokemon series).theres little possibilty of a sixth generation. i mean like VERY VERY little
     
    as long as there are pokemon fans, there will be a 5th gen
     
    I think they will introduce new regions and what not but will not have new Pokemon.
     
    Most likely they will have a 5th generation. Heck they might even go up to 1,000 and more pokemon.
     
    It will feel very unfullfilling if there is not a 5th gen. I still think the pokemon metagame needs more additions of moves and pokemon to be more balanced. This is something only another gen will provide.
     
    You know what they say the more generations they make the more money they get If I got to choose I would love for their to be a 5th gen
     
    Yes! Of course! It will be a while from now since the 4th gen just came out...but if there wasn't a 5th gen there would be alot of very unhappy Pokefans...I'm sure the writers would get mobbed. xd
     
    I don't sure is the best idea is make another generation... the pokemons are so weirds and Uglys than others. And the ideas are lackin cause you have almost everything (Water,Sky,grosund,Time,Space,Creation,etc)

    Everthing? so not true, there are millions on ideas that need to be made, countless animals and plants, and loads of legends waiting to be done.
     
    Yes, Nintendo is not dumb enough to just throw away all the hard money they earned from this successful series. My guess is that they will continue making more generations until they run out of money.
     
    If they make one, it'll suck. I didn't like a lot of Pokemon in the 4th generation. >_> There need to be new type combos though. Fire/Ghost would own so much. If they do that, I hope they don't f*** it up like they probably will.
     
    I can see them making a 5th Gen, but not anytime soon. Maybe in a year or two.

    Im any case, D/P is totally where it's at, and Nintendo would probably only be doing another gen for the mucho dinero :/
     
    They're gonna keep making Pokemon games until people finally say 'Wait a minute! This is a piece of crap!" And stop playing. That's what I predict for the anime too.
     
    if they do make another game they should add more depth to stories and have more mysteries rather than the same old win badges, elite four champion etc
