Adeline headed off to her first class, Pokemon Biology. She'd finished her more standard courses like math, english and plain biology the year before, and now she was specializing. Unfortunately, these higher-level courses tended to be deadly boring. Her friends in higher grades had returned after graduating full of stories of fieldwork with famous pokemon profs, and had all insisted that they learned NOTHING until they'd got out of the academy. Nothing really important, anyway.
To Adeline, it was just another year to wait.
She'd parted company with Kintaro, who'd headed off toward the gym to work out. She'd been given the machop as a present for being accepted into the Willow Academy. Unlike most specimens of his species, he was lithe and lizardlike, while most machop and its evolutions had an inflated, steroid-saturated look about them. Equally unusual was the fact that he had not evolved. Most trainers' pokemon evolved very quickly, from all the fighting that they did. Kintaro was leading a more natural life, in which he would eventually evolve once he reached adulthood.
The boxer shorts could be worrying at times, however. Especially the rabbits.
