Ok i have been hatching Larvitar and hatched this beast.

    Ivs

    Larvitar

    Jolly Nature

HP - 0-4 ( << The only reason im unsure of using it)

    ATT - 31 (WIN)

    DEF - 31 (WIN)

    SP.ATT - 0-4 ( LOL WHO CARES ??!!)

SP.DEF - 10-14 (Meh not bad, Sandstream helps this)

    SPEED - 23 - 27 (Good)

Do you think this is usable ??

    Also need advice on moveset

    Tyranitar@leftovers
    Jolly Nature
    252 ATT /252 SPEED / 6 HP
    - Dragon Dance
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Crunch

Ev spread and Nature to reach around 364 speed after a Dragon Dance.

See a problem with that ? I do, i need to know what to delete to shove in Taunt so i cant get phazed and statused.

However my problem is if i replace a move i get walled by something.

Crunch Earthquake and Taunt = Skarmory, Salamence and Gyarados Says Hi

Stone Edge Earthquake and Taunt = Bronzong and Claydol say Hi

Stone Edge, Crunch and Taunt = Electivire, Heracross say hi.

If i have Earthquake, Crunch and Stone Edge = Skarmory, DD Gyarados, DD Salamence etc are free to switch in and Whirlwin/Roar, Dragon Dance Up respectively . I also get the hell Will-o-wisped out of me by dusknoir, Spiritomb etc.

So im lost on what to do , any suggestions ??

    All help will be appreciated.

Erm.. Hope I'm not bending any rules by not suggesting anything here but, really does every trainer use the same pokemon? No.
So why do you "experts" always use movesets avoiding pokemon which may or may not show up on ur opponent's team?

Because i battle in OU (Overused Tier) and the pokemon i listed above are exceptionally common there so you have to be prepared to overcome them or ultimately fail.

    KK.

So is there only like 15 pokemon ppl use in that type of battling?

Of course not but you realize if this is my last pokemon and one of the previously mentioned pokemon appears i really will be stuffed basically if i dont have the combination of moves with the most coverage and to overcome them...

Anyone actually have suggestions and help etc.??

Grrrrr! Why do you guys always want to counter EVERYTHING with one Pokémon?! They simply can't, and you have to use the moveset which fits best in your team. I'd use the last one, since after one DD Stone Edge will put a big dent into both Hera and Vire. And about your Larv's IVs, TBH, they suck man. It needs HP, and imagine how much Sp.Def it'd have with Sandstream! I'd go for flawless HP / Atk / Spd for such a moveset. Also, give it just enough Speed so it can outrun Timid Gengars or Infernapes (depends on how much Spd you want) after one DD, put the rest in HP, it'll need it.

I fail to see how they all suck, i know its Hp, Sp.Att do(WOW like ill need that XD) and Sp.Def is mediocre , but not the rest of them. Hmm however ill try and get better Hp, i only considered using this one because its a sweeper and therefore not meant to take hits.

Also i got the Ev spread from Smogon for that specific moveset, so yeah. I only went there due to me not using this to often/if ever.

Hmmm, yeh, but I find flawless Def and mediocre Sp.Def worthless without reasonable HP... I find TTar one of the lamest Pokémon ever (because of cheapness, no because of looks of course xD) but I do know how the most are.

Feedback on the IVs: I'd go for more HP if I were you. Wouldn't also hurt to have a little more SDef.

Feedback on the Moveset: Heracross attacks no matter what, so there's no point in trying to resist that. Stone Edge and Quake are the way to go since it pretty much simulates how it was in Advance where we had no Dark Attack to begin with :x

And Skarmory OR Dusknoir can't touch Tyranitar with Taunt anyway, so I don't know why you're worrying about them.

Feedback on the Tyranitar is lame matter: According to your logic, every DRAGON DANCE user is lame :p
Unless you mean the whole Sandstorm thing, then I see what you mean (still doesn't stop me from using it, he's been my favorite Rock Type since GSC)

This is the annoying crap that I mean. I am sick of everyone not understanding WHY things are done. We MUST prepare for all threats in the OU game. There are a few that must be taken into the upmost caution, & because we do not know what is on their team, we prepare for all OU threats.

By doing that, UU is covered as well. That is making a balanced team, hence why we are "experts". Next time, before you critisize, give something useful, other than just your opinion.

Now, T-tar is a tad too slow NOT to have HP when your using DDance.

Who said I was criticise you?

I was merely asking a question.

Not critisize me, critisize him, & all people using OU teams.

That sarcastic "experts" comment that you put in brackets was very annoying. I explained why we prepare for all threats (BECAUSE we don't know if its there or not) in the post you quoted.

First of all, I can accept your comment about who I criticized although, In England we kinda say things weirdly that arent Gramatically correct so I kind of meant you group of people.

Anyway, I didnt mean to criticize anyone and I put experts like that because it a title.

Its the way I do things e.g. "sir" or "Dr."

Ah, I understand, sort of. We've been getting a fair bit of spitefully sarcastic users lately, so we're on edge.

Thats questionable HP :/ I'd say make it a parent..

    Quoted for turth....

I wouldn't make it a Taunt user with it's HP and Sp Def.

    Tyranitar@Leftovers
    Jolly Nature
    252 ATK /196 SPEED / 60 HP
    - Dragon Dance
    - Stone Edge
    - Earthquake
    - Taunt/Brick Break

I would give that set a try....

Azelf if you want a taunter then gyrados does it better but I agree with shirashi, it could be a good parent.

TTar runs it very, very well.

As for the IVs, I'd go for a bit more HP. They don't suck by any means, like somebody else said.
