WitchHunt - Endgame

Going with that thought thread, then it's something for the court itself to handle in this case.

Since a) no one outside the court has any clue what's going on with it and b) . . . well, actually, refer back to point a.

Let's just hope they have one witch or less and don't get manipulated by them. Aka no one person in the court should take the lead, unless the King reveals to them, I suppose. Even then, caution.

Things seem to be slow right now. Hopefully there's more to work with next time I pop in, probably in the morning

Whew. Sorry for only just posting! I haven't forgotten. I have a slight town read on Alex, but I'm currently not too sure about anyone elze.

Townread because he suggested that we reveal court votes? Could be a witch trying to know who are the 4 in the court.

I think that's why home scumread him. I've a nullish read on him though, though it could easily be a scum slip

It could also have been an honest action that was not well-thought out. That's why I'm not readily voting for him.

Also, if they do have a witch inside the council? Why ask for votes though? Must be a bad way in trying to blend in.

Well, the idea is that if people reveal who they voted for, and mafia already have one of theirs inside the court, they immediately know who's the king so there is no risk involved when picking court members.
I believe that's simply grasping at straws though. Let's just leave it at revealing votes would probably not be a good idea and talk about something else.

I wanna talk about how we can take advantage of the setup. We've established that the person who dies at night is town. Well, there is also the possibility mafia would kill one of their own, but I can't see why they would handicap themselves without good reason, so that's out of the equation for now.
Which leaves us with the alignments of people who die during the day. There is one role that has access to this info, namely the gravedigger. There is also a role that can give it an extra life, namely the nurse.
So, if the gravedigger were to reveal and give us this valuable information, the nurse could give them the extra life and essentially have the witches spend two nightkills trying to get rid of them. And that's not even taking into consideration the angels who can protect the gravedigger. The only problem with this, in my opinion, is there is a chance the gravedigger and/or the nurse might be witch sided. But on the other hand, revealing eliminates the risk of having the gravedigger randomly killed or lynched.
To the point, I would like to hear everyone's thoughts about the gravedigger and the nurse revealing, and when you think it would be a good time to do so.

@Home Yeah. You're right. I asked for court votes for a reason, but it wasn't well thought out.

I believed that if it was done then we could see who voted for who. Then we could use it sniff out lies and the like. We could have the someone from the court out and share who the others members of the court are and have someone else confirm. Then if the votes didn't match up or anything, we could try to find out who lied about their vote and then we might find out scum by seeing that [1] the [maf in the court] might not have reached the correct amount of votes because the maf lied about their votes and [2] we'd also find potential inno that they split their votes too. But I realized later that there were some discrepancies and inconsistincies to it, so I revoked it.

There's about 36 hours left in the day! Vote count soon.
Spoiler:

I totally agree with johnny. Gravedigger should not reveal their role this early. There is role called Assassin ( if this role is mafia sided { which imo is -similar to sniper or a third party like role} they can easily kill the gravedigger even before nurse give them extra life or by mafia at night after losing extra life to assassin...so no 2 day waste for mafia)
So yeah, no PR should reveal their role unless they have some good info. I see Abby is ok eh....Well doof said something. I dunno who to vote yet...so I'll stick with Sparkin one :p

Outing right now would be a terrible idea imo. At this point it would only reveal the information of two players (plus, as a little bonus, the Gravedigger themselves). The next night the Witches will just kill one of his lives, and without a death this reveals no new information at all. Later in the game, we can learn a lot more by this.

Nevertheless, it might still be a good idea for the Nurse to hand that extra life to the Gravedigger. If they do, this at least confirms the Nurse as town. (This assuming the Nurse and the Digger aren't both witches.)

I think it's a terrible idea for the gravedigger to reveal so early. Late in the game when we have to claim roles, that would be the ideal time for the gravedigger to reveal, so they can expose who's lying. All they're gonna achieve right now is getting killed and we'll lose one of our best sources of information.
Can you guarantee they won't be randomly killed? Or that they're not dead already? I see where you're coming from, but the thing is we have no way of knowing if they die.

Also, the mentality of "later when we have to claim roles" is trash tier logic at best in this game. You can't clear someone when they claim their role. Except for a few holy roles. There's not gonna be counterclaims. Witches will claim their role and say they're town.

That's assuming that the assassin is witch aligned however.

Anyway, neither of you is counting the angels' protection. There's two players dead currently. We've settled that L'Belle was 99% town aligned, so that means there's at least one angel able to protect tonight. If EC was town, then that's two angels, all good. If he was witch, then he can't use his swapping ability, because for the demons to be able to use it, the following must be true : angels > demons
This practically means that the gravedigger will be 100% protected tonight if they reveal, and the witches will have to use both their night kill and their once-in-the-game ability to get rid of them. And that's not counting nurse's extra life.
And while all this is happening, the priest is free to roam and investigate people, assuming they're alive.

On a side note, if the nurse doesn't hand out their extra life to the grave digger, that automatically paints them witch, meaning they can't claim the role to save their ass.

I don't know why you wanna know the gravedigger's info. Those who die at night are obviously town, because mafia wouldn't kill one of their own, if they want to be the same number as us. Now, about those who die at day is a different story. Although, I saw no defenses to a lynch and for that I think that all the dead are town. I don't think the GD should reveal now. A witch could try to defend one of their own, and if their defense fails, we'll get another witch.
To finish, I'm gonna say the Priest is the only one who can confirm from those that are alive if one is a witch, aside from the apprentice, if they didn't take over yet, or if they're dead.
