Word and Charcter Limit.

    I read the thread earlier and I have something I would like to say. Could we up the Character and Word limits in the Roleplay sections? Even though we have dome much to fix the problems, they still occur. With an up in the Character and word limits, we wouldn't have SO short of post as we normally do. We might see less people in their but we will most likely see improvements. The amount of post and the length in posts.

    ...Reporting always works. It isn't exactly THAT common of a issue, is it? Just report that member and we'll deal with it.
     
    Well this way, I wouldn't have to waste time reporting the person. It doesn't as often as it used to but its still way to often.
     
    I asked this when I was a praetor. I'm don't think the Admin CP has the capability to do it to one specific forum, it can only do it to all or none of the whole message board. And if it can do it to one specific area, they don't know how to do it.

    Or at least they didn't when I was staff...

    I was being honest. It didn't help any. Also the post you just made was spam so dont even try to lecture me on spam. So does a MOD have anysay in this?
     
    I don't think it's a good Idea because then everyone would just keep saying:
    (messsage to short) 0_o

    But with that logic, everything should be allowed because people could just report it nonstop, and we don't want that. I already told you that it's impossible for the Admins to change the character limit for one certain section of the site...there, question answered, thread done.
     
    Thread not done. Sorry, people will be allowed. Last I checked, i didn't say they couldn't post. But if they can't post a 5 or more lined post. They dont deserve to beable to RP till they can.
     
    D is right (nor is he spamming), we can't boost the post character limit for different forums. If something is wrong then you can waste your time reporting the post/thread.
    If you got some dealings with the RP forum then take it up with David or Ookami.

    That's like saying to me..."If you can't write out a detailed paragraph explanation justifying your post, then you don't even deserve to post." Last I checked, the RP forum didn't have a major* problem regarding that issue. No one should be able to judge whether or not a member has the 'right' to do something, unless the offense is too critical to ignore. As David said, if RPers find difficulty/trouble with certain spammy posts, they report it. If not..then, well..it's their choice, really. The administrators can't do anything to rectify the whole concept of specific forum-based boost in post count in the first place.

    And if the rest of you bothered paying attention, you'd see Aang was impyling it had become such a problem that it was needed. I know at least a few of you uppers go to vBulletin.org and know that they have a large collection of modifications and a request forum for those they don't have, so there's really no reason to be hectoring him like this. :\

    That's because it wasn't.
