worlds that you #loved

The Metroid series I think has some of the most interesting baddies and a slew of great music. To get to explore all that and look for hidden items and power ups was just a great experience overall, and to not put Super Metroid on the 3DS is a crazy idea. There are 100's of classic SNES games that they still own all the rights to and won't go through the effort of making F-Zero, Super Metroid, Mario Kart, Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, etc.

But the Metroid series is just one series that can get you lost, and it wasn't the first either. There are hundreds of worlds I've come across that make me want to stay there awhile, and my favorite will always be a cross between books/games/table top/ and whatever else you can come up with.

I really loved the worlds in Final Fantasy, especially X and X-2. They are so beautiful, and the story lines for them really stand out for me. I only wish I could take part in a world like that because it seems more fun than the real world.

I'd have to say the worlds from the Paper Mario series and the DKC series. I tend to get lost in their atmospheres. You can definitely thank the music and artstyles for that.

There's a lot to choose from, but by far the closest to my heart is Tamriel. Especially Black Marsh, because of the glorious argonian master race. A close runner up would be the Mojave Wasteland from Fallout New Vegas.

Mine would have to be Mass Effect. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm kind of an alien nut, and it would be great to live in a world where I could go hang out with my friends who were all different species than me. Plus some of the worlds look amazing, and a really cool spot to fly to for a vacation. Well, once the whole war thing is over, at least.
