Would you buy a psp if it had pokemon on it?

    Would you buy a psp if the creaters decided to make the next generation on this system?

    Think about it for a second, they could probably add some more graphics to the game and probably make it 3D. Maybe not the battling (even though I would like this) but everything else outside of it. Common, they decided to put some yugioh games on the psp, why not pokemon too.

    I mainly see alot more older kids in their teens with psps because of some of the non-childish games (including me). Im not saying that you have to be a child to play the ds but im just saying that I see more violent games on the psp that I actually like then on the ds.
     
    There would be nothing wrong with a Pokemon game on the PSP. you could make it real life looking, like the wii.

    Technically speaking, I highly doubt Nintendo is going to be willing to give up one of the franchises they make the most money off and grant it to Sony. Pokémon makes up a good chunk of Nintendo's profits. :/
     
    No. I just couldn't imagine seeing a Pokémon game on the PSP. I've always known Sony as a hardcore gaming industry. If Pokémon was on a Sony system, I'd probably gain a strong dislike for them.
     
    I know what ay mean. I would prefer it not be on the psp. Id rather it not be on the psp because of it being childish to me.
     
    Eh, I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to pay for a PSP simply to play Pokemon.
    My brother has a PSP, I'd just steal his. ;)
     
    Pokemon on the PSP? It will never happen. You'd have all Nintendo fans hating Sony even more if that happened. And like someone said earlier, Nintendo's not stupid enough to let a rival have one of their biggest money making franchises.

    Anyway, the PSP's already doomed right now since nobody's buying them, nobody's making games for it these days and the DS is kicking its butt in the sales department.

    I thought that at first, considering there were virtually no interesting games this year for the PSP. I find that 2009 actually looks promising enough, and only because there are a couple of upcoming Square Enix titles. Other than those, I'm probably only looking forward to Resistance: Retribution so far. :/
     
    I'd be concerned about how many broken PSPs will result of it. Since I have a PSP anyway, I suppose 'both' is my option here.
     
    while that happening in real life is highly unlikely, it would be interesting and could see some advantage using the psp's features^^
     
    Aren't most people here missing the point of the original post here? The poster has promulgated a hypothetical situation wherein the Pokémon franchise is suddenly bought up by Sony and relaunched on the PSP. He's then asked if you would buy a PSP to continue playing the games, but most people are questioning whether such a situation could ever happen. That's not a valid answer. >>;

    (Of course, we know it wouldn't ever happen, but honestly, it's a hypothetical situation, so get past that and actually answer the question.)

    Yes, I think I would buy a PSP to play Pokémon games. As aggrieved as I'd be that Nintendo had sold the franchise, I've been a fan for ten years, and I wouldn't let that end my support of the series.
     
    My parents wouldn't even let me have a PSP since I already have like 4 DSes.

    Plus, after the LoZ disaster with Sony, I don't think Nintendo would be trusting them any time soon...
     
    i would not buy a psp even with pokemon on it, first of all:pokemon games bore me in a way,and mainly the psp costs a some what large amount of money.... and like advanced k9 said nintendo most likely wouldent even let sony copy pokemon so i would not even bother getting one even if it had pokemon on it.
     
    Well, since I'm a fan of Sony products (Well..Most of them..) I already have 2 PSP's. I bought them to play GTA: Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories.. Oh and Initial D lol. But if Pokémon came on PSP. Thats epic W.T.F

    But if I never had a PSP and Pokémon DID come out on it, I would buy it straight away :o
     
    I already have a PSP but if I didn't I would most likely get one for Pokemon if the game was really good and not a port or anything.

    More interesting would be what Pokemon would be doing on a non-Nintendo system to begin with.
     
    No I wouldn't. I already have one ;p. I regret buying it though as there aren't to many good games for it. I have more fun playing PSX games on it than PSP games. Only a few good PSP games out so far and last year was really bad for games.

    Nintendo won't let Pokemon go anyway. It is a huge money making game for them.
