Would you catch all pkmn? (If they were real of course)

You can use the edit button, and there's a delete post somewhere for you to delete double post as a result of lag ^^;

I'll catch even less than 6... I mean, a dog in real life is hard enough to handle. Two is possible but harder... now add in magical effects with hyper energetic energy, and there's 6 of them!? o.O; Besides the bonus that they can be stored in pokeballs at night (now isn't that convenient to steal in a break-in ><) to save space, life will be *hectic.*

Some Pokemon are truly unrealistic and impossible to feed either... Let's not even think about Snorlax. Just a Charizard.. what do you feed that thing and how much will it cost a day? o.O;

Let's stick with Zigzagoons to dig me those nuggets ^^

nah, just the ones I like, about 6, to make my team and that's it o!o

Come to think of it.. you have a point there.. I mean a Snorlax and a Charizard?? o___O And imagine having Wailord.. I mean wales need to be in the water all the time.. and a Wailord is just soooo big! Who knows how much it needs to eat?!

Maybe if pkmn were real there would also be special food or something that would make them easiliy fed - like reallly small cookies who would contain all the basic vitamins, albumin etc. ... :P

Nah, I wouldn't try to catch them all. If I wasn't bombarded with the slogan 'Gotta catch 'em all' all the time I doubt the thought would have even crossed my mind. I'd build up a small team of pokemon. Luckily none of my favourites are too high maintenance. :]

I guess I wouldn't, because I don't even think that I could. I mean, I think I would have to travel whole my life to do that (you know, with new pokemon appearing and all the locations I'd have to visit... Not to mention the lengedaries who are VERRY hard to catch) and I am not sure that I'd want to do so. I also don't have a wish to collect all of them.

i wouldn't catch all the pokemon. it would be putting them in the same class as trading cards. i would probably catch the pokemon i wanted for my team and then any others i liked, and i would have a close relationship with all of them.

I don't know. I don't think i could take care of heaps of pokemon so I'd probably catch what i like best or whats reasonably common as well. But I gotta have my very own Vulpix or Ninetales. Thats a must for me!

Nah, there are some pokemon I have a dislike to. Not all pokemon are great, and some can be pretty intimidating.

Of course not. I'd never be able to take care of all of them, and just making them lie around in pokéballs (or on some professor's ranch or whatever) would be cruel. And, realistically, wouldn't catching some of the legendaries throw nature all out of whack? Say I had a Kyogre and a Groudon - the two are still going to be enemies even if they're under my "control." Not to mention I highly doubt the power of badges from the games would work in real life, so that'd be even more chaotic... (Really, what kind of animal {for lack of a better word} would see a piece of metal and decide that meant the trainer was all-powerful? I always hated how that part of the game worked; I'd almost rather see pokémon come to respect the trainer through actual experience, rather than the magic of badges. >>)

The idea of trying to feed them all made me laugh; good thing none of the games make us worry about that, eh?

Yeah, you're right, I like your idea. It was just like with Charizard and Ash, when Ash had to gain his respect. I think pkmn should behave like Charizard. Well not burn the pkmn trainers or attack them in any other way (at least I wouldn't like that.. xD) but wait to see if they can really trust their trainer. Like in real life when you meet someone.. you don't just trust him right away, right?

BTW this is really off topic.. but I love your sig pic ~Seadra~!

Nope, no way. There's only a few Pokes I like, and there's only so many I'd be able to take care of. It's like pets, you know? Plus there's far too many Pokes - one would have to be millionaire to feed them all. And out of the bunch there's a lot of ugly ones, huge ones, and a few that I simply dislike.

So yeah, I'd only catch the ones I'd use and take care of. ^^
