Wow, braces r teh suxx0rz

Aww, DT got braces? They're not that bad... I miss mine, and I've had 'em off for almost 4 years now. o_o; It's not the braces that suck... it's the retainers you get later. >_< Remember to wear them as much as you have to. <_<;

Once you get used to have braces in your mouth it's not as bad as you think it is... and the results once they come off are nice too. ^^

Of course u can have skittles. U just don't chew them though.(sorry if this is off topic)

Braces help make your teeth straighter. Its a good thing we have braces. If we didn't, we'd live in a world full of crooked teeth(and I hate those)
 
Yes the do suck and I would do what you are suppose to do cause someone I know didnt and she has been having hers for 6 years!!! I had mine for only a year and a half though...oh and when you get em of...wear you retainer cuase if you dont they have to give you this special one that moves your teeth and it hurts like hell!!!

^^; I think braces are better then retainers.. I should be getting braces by at least June.. o_o; But they put the retainer in first for some reason, and I hate it! XD
 
I had braces for a few years. They take getting used to, but it's definitely worth it in the end ;) They are very painful to begin with though...:( Whenever I got them tightened I couldn't eat properly for the rest of the day >_< But after that it was fine, and back to normal again. :)
 
Well I hope the first few days aren't that bad, gotta take painkillers :)

And my friend is having a huge birthday party on saturday, tons of food =(

yes it is irrelevant as crowding, overbites etc etc are not something that can be prevented easily.Some problems are even genetic.

Come on ppl it isn't that bad.
It only hurts when u now get them on.
If u have the new kinds the tightening them wouldn't hurt as much as ppl say.
Don't worry.
Its all good.
 
If you get good colors, and if you are good looking, they can accentuate your features, and sometimes make you look...NEAT-O. Oh, yeah, NEAT-O. I like green braces, myself, but a lot of them look NEAT-O. I never had them, so I don't know if they hurt or not.
 
Hehehe.. I remember the days when I had them. They pay off in the end though, really. It makes you appear more attractive and everything.. just pull through it. In the long run you'll be grateful.
 
Come on ppl, if u don't like braces, then that means u don't like straight teeth. If u like braces, then u want straight teeth. As simple as that. I want braces and all.

DragonTrainer(atleast i think thats his name) u got any pics of you with braces that we can see? And Arcanine won't laugh.

I am going to laugh when you get braces and say you hate them.

I've never had them but yep I need them. Why does crooked teeth have to be a dominant gene? Seriously whatever happened to natural selection? (Kidding about that.)

;_; I don't want the crap kind which murder your teeth like the ones you got DragonTrainer. But I have too. ;_;
 
Yeah,braces really suck. Especially when food gets caught in them and its like: Yeeeech!
 
I used to want them too, because it seemed like almost all of the more popular people at my old school had them... XD That was in third grade, though. I thought they looked cool.

I don't have them, and I doubt I'll ever need them since my teeth are straight, but a couple of my friends have them. I've wondered what they'd be like.

My friend just got hers taken off, and now she has a retainer, and she sounds kinda weird. I could tell they were really annoying her when she first got them, she kept adjusting them, but now she just wears them, but she talks with a bit of a lisp.
