6th Gen X/Y Third Version Speculation Thread

who says it will only have 1 sig move? i'd say all 3 will be signature moves of zygarde. there's also the possibility that each of it's forms will have its own signature move that can only be used by that individual form, otherwise there would be no reason not to keep it a 100% all the time(unless 100% will work more like a mega evolution with there being a button to press to cause it right where the mega evolution button is at with pokemon able to mega evolve)

there's also a chance that there might be a primal reversion magikarp made just for the hell of it.

That Pokemon X description is RUTHLESS! Oh my God it totally obliterates this poor little Pokemon, it definitely needs a Burn Heal after that xD

Seriously though, that put me into thoughts, because if they were to give Pokemon pre evolutions like they did with Electabuzz, Magmar, Jynx, Chansey etc etc they should not make it so that when the Pokemon evolves it gets worse, like the Dex entry indicates. Balance yourself Gamefreak, and announce a game already goddamnit!

I don't think anybody said Zygarde had to have only one signature move(it's pretty obvious that he won't). We were trying to figure out which moves in his currently-known moveset would be switched out in favor of Thousand Waves and Thousand Arrows once it transforms into Complete Forme. I'm also curious if his Dog Forme will have a different moveset, thinking about it now... I'm thinking Extreme Speed or an equivalent for Dog-garde replacing Land's Wrath. That's IF they make any changes to the movesets to accomadate each Forme, though.

Also, is anybody curious if Zygarde Core will or will not register in our Pokedex's in-game? In the anime description for one of the episodes, it apparently won't with Ash and co. On the official Pokemon website, it also states that scientists still debate on whether it should be considered a Pokemon.

The Core might, but the Cells might not. The Cells are the non-sentinent flakes, but the Zygarde Core is sentinent, and it commands the Cells and communicates with other Cores.

That's only for one of them, but it might get both so I think that another move will be replaced. I think that Glare will be that move. It's also possible that in order to become Perfect Zygarde it'll need to learn both moves (similar to how Rayquaza can only Mega evolve when knowing Dragon Ascent).

As for the anime. It might be that whoever made the dex doesn't know about Zygarde. It's also possible that the little core cell can't be recognized by the dex as Zygarde. I'm fairly certain that the game will have at least a model of it, even if we might not be able to use it. Speaking of unable to use it, Yvetal is the only one-forme member of the trio (Xerneas's inactive forme seems to make it similar to Zygarde cell which can't use moves).
 
And it would be great to have more color for the outfits, some outfits on the female lacked colors.

I wonder if they'd permit us to have some outfit sets, that would give us ability to make our player seem like certain protagonists from previous generations (Brendan, May, Red, and so forth). Personally, I feel this'd be nifty.
 
So... I'm not sure how relevant this would be, but Masuda posted on his Twitter, telling fans to watch "Oha Suta Thursday" in regards to something Pokemon-related. He says it's a "must see" according to what Bing translator was able to get out of it. I'm unfamiliar with what that program is, but do they typically do any reveals or news of anything?

Bulbapedia says that they often show new trailers and on occasion have shown new Pokémon, so it's possible we might get something...when does it start?

I'm not sure, but when I posted about it, Masuda had made that tweet 2 hours before. I'm not even sure where we could watch it to be honest... I guess keep our eyes peeled on Serebii and Maduda's Twitter?
 
That's interesting. Seems like we might be able to expect some news sometime tomorrow, then.

In the meantime, here's my idea as to how Zygarde's various formes will be handled in-game. Basically, my thinking is that you get Zygarde Core very early on in the game. Very weak, low BST, on par with early-game stuff like Pidgey and Rattata. Later on in the game, you acquire a Key Item designed to store Zygarde Cells, so that Zygarde Core can use any number of them to piece together one of Zygarde's formes. Let's call this the Z Container. The Z Container would come with 10% of all the Zygarde Cells already inside, allowing you to use the Z Container to switch Zygarde between its Cell and 10% formes. As the storyline progresses, you gain more and more Zygarde Cells, and viewing the description of the Z Container in the bag tells you what percent of all Zygarde Cells are in the Z Container. Once it hits 50%, which would be at some point around the middle of the storyline, you can use the Z Container to scroll through Cell, 10%, and 50% formes- use it on Zygarde Cell, it becomes Zygarde 10%. Use it on Zygarde 10%, it becomes Zygarde 50%. Use it on Zygarde 50%, it's back to Zygarde Cell. Like a Deoxys meteorite in Key Item form. Once it gets 50% of the Zygarde Cells ,the number stops going up. And then, when the storyline reaches its climax, your Zygarde appears (if it's in the PC, you get the option to add it to your party following this cutscene), and summons the rest of the Zygarde Cells from all over the world into the Z Container, and then becomes Zygarde Complete Forme then and there. And from then on, Zygarde Complete is added to the rotation of Zygarde's formes you can use the Z Container to scroll through.
 
Speaking of Z. Pokémon Tetra appears to be getting an update called Tetra Ultimate Z which will add the Zygarde formes. Then there's the Pokédex Z merchandise that Wings mentioned a couple pages back. Finally there is the anime XY & Z...so much Z that at this point GF is either giving it away or this is to throw us off...

Ok so apparently the news weren't that important after all, just a few pics which didn't provide any new info. I actually laughed so hard when seeing that.

Aww tarter sauce... I guess we wait until the XY&Z anime airs to see if anything gets announced. Let's see how much longer the fandom will last before going bat-crazy.

I think we're on the precipice of becoming Noibat/Zubat-crazy...at least I am. In other fandoms they usually start going crazy with fanfics at this point...

So it's either a 'coincidence' that Ash-Greninja looks has the same coloration as Ash (or Calem in games) or the design is based on Calem or Ash. I'm speculating it's a similar case with Delphox and Chesnaught. And I'm further speculating that they do not need Mega Stones to ME, similar to M-Rayquaza.

I'm thinking that Delphox will look more like Serena then. As for Mega Chesnaught...it might be given aspects of Tierno and the other two...or a third character who is important to the story.
