Can you imagine how much damage would be done if they used all 3? I'm thinking that they will have a 50% like what's being insinuated in the anime, while you have the other one. I think what could happen is that Team Flare actually succeeds in setting off the weapon at full power, and then afterwards both of the 50% will merge to form Complete Forme and then revert Kalos back to normal.

Yveltal and Xerneas were simply a power source Team Flare was using to power the machine, they have nothing to do with AZ's story. So I was really thinking Zygarde may have a part in this during the war, and it came from Perfect Zygarde's power that AZ was able to revive his Floette, and end the war with the huge blast

Since in X/Y Sycamore theorizes that the Anistar Sundial has a connection between the Ultimate Weapon, Legendaries, and Mega-Evolution, I'm thinking that AZ had used material from the Anistar Sundial to build it. Both structures even are made out of similarly large crystalline material, which I think is interesting. It's said that the Anistar Sundial also came from space, so I think that Game Freak could use that to tie it in with ORAS lore since that version of Hoenn has space and meteorite connections within its Mega-Evolution lore.

Read the summary of the latest update of the XY arc of Pokemon Special from Serebii's page... if they follow a bit of it then you will be right about Zygarde's role being after Flare's weapon launch.
 
What was the Megalith Lysandre wants to keep in his lab all along? Did he kept it because if he released it, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza would be attracted to that energy and would get it? Is that really where Mega evolution came from when they discovered it in act 2? Why did they test the core and some of the cells in the lab? To see if the core had the same power as the Mega Evo?

Wasn't it what allowed Rayquaza to Mega Evolve? The anime tends to change the way forms work, like Deoxys, and Kyurem for example.
 
Fair point, though it was also interesting to see the rainbow-like trail when 10% Zygarde was forming, makes me think it's related to the colors of Mega Evo. In the recent trailer of the Litleo episode, we see Team rocket in a Charizard-Like machine. Why Charizard of all things? Is this hinting a return..?

Speaking of Charizard in the latest Pokemon Special chapter (serebii has posted the summary of) a mysterious man/boy with a Charizard appears speaking of how the only one capable of stopping Xerneas and Yvetal's fighting (which can destroy the region) is Zygarde, and wonders if it truly does exist. The person could be Alain (or Green/Blue...who in the manga is in Kalos...), which could hint at his appearance in the games.
 
I hope Alain does make an appearance in the next game, that would be awesome.

Anyhoo... I'm wondering if we'll get both movie information and a game announcement next month in CoroCoro. If it was exclusively movie news, wouldn't they have said so? They say it's big Pokemon news and were not specific on what front of the franchise, so I think that could encompass more than just the movie. That's just my thought, I could be wrong.

In the corocoro that leaked when B2W2 were announced had both B2W2 and movie info. Irc the movie poster came out earlier than Pokemon Sunday's (was that it's name back then?) reveal. Some thought it was a fake irc, until they were later confirmed.

Perhaps Volcanion will be revealed and shown with a new forme/Mega/Primal. Resolute Keldeo was revealed some time later than Black Kyurem and White Kyurem irc. Hopefully it'll have a power boost unlike Resolute Keldeo which didn't even get a stat rebalance...
 
Serebii has updated with news of the first Zygarde cards in the TCG to be released. They're due out sometime in March. I'm not exactly sure how certain brand-new sets work in conjunction with game releases since I don't collect, but any thoughts?

Japanese dates are at the right of the chart. It seems like the TCG set that features the third version mascots come 1-3 months after the game releases. For example Primal Crash came out in Japan a month after OrAs did while the original XY TGC came out two months after XY came out. It works similarly for the other generations. Platinum TGC came out a month after Pt came out.

Also found this interesting tidbit: "EX Emerald was conceived to tie in with the release of Pokémon Emerald, a trend Nintendo have followed since their occupation of the TCG. Since no Japanese set correlated with this, Nintendo used cards from other sources." EX Emerald though was only a Europe and American set, but came out the same month that Emerald did here, but as the tidbit I pasted says Nintendo releases the TCG to fit with the games. This could hint that Z is upon us (and that Delta Emerald isn't happening as Rayquaza also got a set...)

Edit: Wait, so according to Pokebeach, who is more knowledgeable about the TGS, since this isn't a set (it's a deck), then likely we won't be getting Z by March, as the mascots tend to get Set's, not Deck's.

Edit II: However, after reading that Kyurem also made it's debut in another set it made me interested in finding when that set came out. Apparently Next Destinies came out in Japan five months before B2W2 were announced, and nine before before their release. So if this is a similar case a then a Late 2016 release could be possible, with a Late Summer reveal...
Of course though, I trust more the movie+third version/sequel release trend. The games have been announced before the movie featuring the mascot come out for the likes of Emerald, Platinum, and B2W2 (likely Crystal too). So expect an announcement before July. Platinum had the closest time between reveal and the movie coming out, with a two month gap. I think a May reveal is the latest if we are to get a 'Z' or 'XZ/YZ' version this year.

So did anything interesting happen on that show with Masuda? Unforunately I can't speak Japanese so watching the video proved fruitless.
 
@above the better question is why people where expecting a delta emerald to begin with.
way to much attention has been thrown onto the remakes in comparison to the actual 6 gen games...

Uh, were you around during Gen IV? HgSs also overshadowed DPP. I think the only remakes that didn't overshadow the new region's games were FrLg and that's because no one expected them. Also unlike Pt and XY, RS had a year of events without no new main game rivals (which is ironic as back in those days events were harder to get for some of us).
 
I think it's kinda funny how we find out about the Zygarde TCG only a couple days after we find out about "big news" due next month in CoroCoro. I'm not saying that we'll definitely get an announcement next month, becuase I'm most likely wrong. At first it was the anime and little bit of the movie side(teaser at the end of Hoopa movie) of the franchise that has been hyping Zygarde, and now it's the TCG. I'm saying that we can't deny that they're starting to line up their chickens, or however that old saying is supposed to go.

Also, here's an interesting question to ponder over. With the original R/B/Y due for release in February on the VC, does that completely rule out "Z" being released in the first half of 2016? If it were to hypothetically be released in the same month of February or even March, would that be a smart move or not for Game Freak? I'm really curious about this, because the thought had crossed my mind of them making some sort of "beginning and end/present-day of Pokemon" special bundle of having your choice of the original Gen 1 games plus "Z".

A February release is becoming unlikely, and according the Pokebeach the deck instead of a set makes a release by March unlikely. If we don't get a reveal next month, or by January 8th then a February reveal to show the old and new is possible. If they reveal it in February then perhaps we'll get a June release like B2W2.
 
Everytime I think we are close to Pokemon Z's announcement , Some stupid Spin-off get in the way.
I was wondering , Are we ever going to see Kanto , Jotho and Sinnoh of ORAS universe ?
 
...Ok.. this raises my hopes up again. It CANT be about the Pikachu Detective game NOR ANYTHING ELSE WE DON'T CARE ABOUT,and... I guess that's it.. an on that February of 2012, prior to them revealing more info on BW2 and the movie,their teaser states that in the next issue, due for release on March 15th, there is to be another bit of surprise information. This information is said to not just be about Keldeo, with it stating it will post "more than the report of Keldeo".
