I don't know. In the U.S. we didn't get the swapping shell/skin version of the New 3DS.

didn't get one for the NDSL either. didn't stop anyone from swapping out the shells though, it just takes some work. trouble lies with the ribbon wire though, many people bricked their NDSLs by accidentally ripping the damn thing or in my case leaving the first one where my kitten could get too it & leaving my second one where my now jailed cousin could get to it. at least the cop that arrested him(after knocking him out cold) let me pilfer his wallet. got enough money to get a another NDSL and then some but alas rent had to be paid.
 
Pokémon Get☆TV is ending and a new Variety is to start in October. The past shows changed names and what not when a new gen was upon us. Could this be a hint that Gen VI is over and Gen VII is upon us? Could Zygarde be the first cross Gen mascot?

Perhaps, perhaps not. Super Mystery Dungeon gets out in November, rest of world shortly after. Similar sort of deal with Pokken going Wii U and perhaps even the next Nintendo console project. Shuffle, and other Pokemon apps going to smart phones may get discussion as well. As too could the TCG and TCGO get some coverage.

I didn't think it was possible before you told me about this. But then I think it's possible now.

Because:
- GF is limiting the number of new Pokémon from Gen VI .
- Strange Souvenir and the 'not Kanto, not Johto, not Sinnoh, not Hoenn and not Unova' dialogue.
- GF is creating surprises and trying to think out the box.

Well Gen VI is officially the worse generation then, gdi my Hoenn region is dragged in this pile of Garbodor mess.

If it is the end then ORAS' arc words of "The end of something is the start of something new." has a whole new meaning ( the end of Gen VII and the eventual start of Gen VII).

Interesting. When you think the connection between Gen I and Gen II's close, (if they are going through the route as you speculated) seems like Gen VI and Gen 7's connection is deeper and closer than any previous generations.

But I don't want to have Kalos region as our main region for Gen 7. :(

could be from orre. if not orre there are other regions that are connected to the main series games like fiore, oblivia, almia, south america(mews pokedex entry from stadium + its faraway island is freaking guyana jungle) Lt. surge was once part of united states army & no one knows where the hell fantinia came from.
besides, we should already know who that backpacker really is...

You were kidding, right? {XD} I haven't heard of that item associated with those not-so-important side game regions.

As for Fantina? She's a Ghost-type user, but certainly not from hell. ;) Fantina speaks broken English in the original Japanese version, but funnily she wasn't mention to be connected with the Unova region, despite the Unova region being based on USA. So that sorta brings up my next point. If we were to accord the real world history, France (which is Kalos' main inspiration) and United Kingdom are connected, the war that was kept on being mentioned throughout XY is persumably the war between the English and French.

And there were wide/popular speculations that the next region (Gen VI extentions or Gen 7 games) is going to be based on UK. I guess Fantina's from a region based on UK.~

Someone mentioned that Masuda's in London now so... *whistles* You never know.

A UK region would be interesting. Wonder if they'll be prequels. B2W2 were meant to take place at the same time as XY (before Zinnia's AU comment messed things up) and we all know Unova didn't have those, so perhaps Kalos (and Hoenn) don't have these new ones.Perhaps the evil team will invade Kalos up until Terminal Cave (if we arrive by Azure bay we can be limited only to the more northern towns until post game) as someone there mentioned a Team similar to flare a couple years back looking for Xerneas/Yvetal (could in reality be Zygarde)

The girl (mentioned in my previous post) is actually in Anistar (made a typo) but Termnial cave would be the place they (evil team) could end up in.

A German or UK region would be cool. They could provide a historical link to Unova (Germany with immigrants so a lot of Unovans could have ancestors who came from such a region. UK due to the revolutionary war.)
 
This month and October ought to be really interesting, with upcoming news and everything. It's time to get out of this news slump already. Zygarde and Blob-mon, here we come! :)


I wouldn't mind either a 3rd version "Z" or a sequel scenario, as long as the game(s) are really interesting and blow both X/Y and ORAS out of the water. I'm also hoping that some loose ends and connections from both X/Y and ORAS are expanded on as well(Anistar Sundial, Zinnia, large tree in Sootopolis that AZ planted, ect.) It's interesting to note that Malva is being hinted at a potentially major role in the upcoming Mega Evolution special, which is also supposed to feature and promote Zygarde and Blob-mon. Is it possible that Malva will be playing a major role in the upcoming game(s) as well?

The story we had in X and Y was nice, but oftentimes, certain parts of it seemed to have felt rushed to me, and if they're able to avoid that this time around, I believe it would do them much good.

Not only that but there were some rather long gaps in the story too which caused each section to feel even more rushed.

I hope it'll be a prequel though and have a BW style story (XY having a more B2W2ish boring story so they should go in reverse :P )
 
I think a prequel story would be awesome. Something I've always thought that they should do is show a major character's background in a way. Something like having an original protagonist, but having Lysandre as the rival or maybe Diantha.
