Dojo crawls down Alandros' arm, "Lets not get to formal alright. That's Jason…" He points to the Brown eyed curly haired kid, "That's Pelle…" he points to a black haired girl, "And that's Chris." He points to the last kid. "Now that you all know each other I suggest we get out of the forest, there's danger here, and I'm not as young as I used to be."
OOC: Chris is still at the temple. Sorry if i sound rude.
Chris continued to dream. This time, his dream had nothing to do with his past, present, or what he thought to be his future. He was standing in a small cave in which a circular cloud of shadows undulated. He saw two disembodied demonic, bloodshot eyes with catlike pupils dart open within the cloud, four people nearby fell to their knees and screamed in pain. Chris looked around. There, in the middle, was a second Chris! The second Chris, however, was wearing a chain mail*, a set of platelegs**, and a gold-trimmed brassard***. The duplicate stood defiantly in front of the demonic presence. The duplicate held a strange, silver-trimmed lantern that had no light source.
Chris's duplicate held the lantern up high and called out, "Sun-chi Lantern! I call upon your power!" Instantly, the lantern grew bright with an invisible light source. The light shone upon the four sufferers, and a mysterious power seemed to surge through the duplicate. The duplicate then charged into the darkness, and the evil within the chamber instantly dissipated with a blood-curdling scream. The real Chris then saw a great number of artifacts made of the noble metals****, which the duplicate picked up one by one.
Chris woke up. He pinched himself to be sure that this wasn't yet another dream. It wasn't. He decided that he had had enough sleep, and progressed on unpacking. He pulled out of his knapsack the tent he had used for the past week. He took out the metal components, such as grommets, until he had a sheet of canvas with a few holes to work with. He then took out some food and headed to the kitchen. There, he had to ignite the stove with a match he had been saving. He boiled some water, and then poured it into a small mug he had placed a teabag in prior to that. When he left, he didn't have time to carefully choose what he brought with him. He continued to fix himself some dinner. He took a knife and sliced a banana and fried it. The banana slices were then crunchy. He put out the ancient stove and proceeded to the dining room with the food. The smell of his food wafted throughout the ancient temple, and into the nearby woods, which could attract all kinds of wildlife, but Chris didn't care; he was eating his first meal at his new home.
OOC: There may have been some confusion in terms of definitions, so here's a list of unusual things(to some people) I mentioned:
* - Chain mail, a simple armor made of thin circles of metal.
** - Platelegs, Armor plating for legs, usually made of metal or leather.
*** - Brassard, armor plating for one arm, held onto the body usually with a strap or some connection on the shoulder.
**** - Noble metals, metals revered for their beauty, such as gold or silver.
