The US is one of the few countries where there isn't a difference in the two. I already know where I want to go, but I don't have enough money to get in, so I'm taking a placement exam for a community college in the mean time.

I'd want to live in a dorm if not for the fact that they block you from downloading more or less anything.

You should shoot for a scholarship! There are so many of them out there~
Florida has an easy 'Bright Future Scholarship', where you need a 3.5 (or 3.7) GPA and 75 service hours and they'll pay for your tuition and books~ Great deal if I wasn't so sick of this place.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to get one next year. Need to do at least one year at this school before I can get one.

I think I'll apply next year in my junior year....it's so nervewrecking though x.x;;
I'm not very athletic, so I hope they look at grades a bit more...

I'm shooting for a scholarship when I'm ready. X3; I don't know if I can do it with my grades {well...maybe. XD}, but with my horseback riding I can if I try hard enough.

There's a difference between college and university? o.o Hmm...

I don't know where I want to go :\ I'm shooting for an Ivy League, but I might just attend University of Florida, University of Virginia, or William & Mary. Bah D:

Yale/Harvard for law would be awesome~ (b'-')b

I want a dorm~ Dorm buddies would be fun if they're nice :3

:3 Yeah~
@@ I'm kinda freaked about dorm buddies, though~
._. What if I have someone who's a complete whore and brings guys in 24/7? ._. blah..

Jorfe~ Go get a laptop, Wirelessinternet, and steal signals from another place X3;~

Not quite. From what I heard the difference is that a college tends to be concentrated in only one or two buildings whereas a university is divided among a large set of buildings and grounds....

Yeah, but that doesn't really effect the classes a person can take. In other countries the classes that you take in a University are usually on a higher level than college.

o.o Like us in Canada, neh? :33~
*razzlespazz*~~

He's right actually.

I want to go to MIT and DigiPen.

Doesn't every kid in America :3
I'm not so sure on MIT, it may not be what I'm looking for. DigiPen is where I want to go~

And not all kids go to Japan =]

BTW Everyone, I added a little think to my news post on PJNet so more people can find the new PC XD Just wanted to do my part.

This is my first visit to the DCC this month. And it's the 18th. Kind of an odd feeling.

I've kind of lost interest in who comes in the top 10 now... none of my friends post here so there really isn't any point...

One of the disadvantages of being in Year 12: Having to write multitudes of essays for college scholarship applications, to say nothing of the actual college applications themselves.

I feel hurt Dawg, seriously.

Seasonal DCCs would be nice if PC isn't going to pick up after the move though.
