(Yet Another) Writer's/Artist's Club

Can't say my parents have ever done that to me, I usually manage to put on a happy enough facade around them and to be honest, I usually feel neutral.

I wish the relatives I lived with were like that. And I don't really consider myself depressed; I'm just not into that happy-go-lucky stuff that they like, and I think that's the main thing...well, that and the thing with my mom...you know.

I've heard. Anyway, I'm oftentimes the same, I just act like it. I purposely distanced myself from every group. My joker's attitude was part of that. Became habit, really.

I don't feel as I have a stereotype, per se. Sarah always asks me what I am, (you know, prep, jock, goth) and I always tell her the same thing. Just me (even though she keeps calling me a goth). I don't have what most would consider a great sense of humour, actually kind of weird; whenever I attempt to tell a joke, it's usually too deep for anyone to get right away, and therefore not a real joke. Yeah...doesn't work for me.

I use a lot of black humor usually. Picked it up from some sci-fi I've read.

I attempt to use observational; the key word being attempt ;). Anyway, to make an even longer story short, I'm definitely not a joker. I leave that up to sarah, and she's good at it.

Humor was what kept my spirits up in middle school. The entire place was a popularity contest and I got the short end of the stick.

I know that feeling. It's never good to be a liberal anything in a christian school.

Or in a generally conservative neighborhood.

I suppose so, though I wouldn't know on that one since I don't interact much with the neighbors.

I'm forced to, my parents are all for social interaction.

Well, even though my relatives do get kinda happy whenever I go to the mall with the saras and Ashley, they don't push me, thank God.

A lot of neighbors hold parties on every blasted government holidy and my parents drag me along.

Glad I don't have that to deal with. I rarely do to parties, espescially ones with a lot of adults.

I do parties, just with people I can relate to. Japanese Club, LAN parties, etc.

There aren't too many parties going on here that are all that attractive to me. They mostly drink beer and uh...such. Me and the other three do sleepovers sometimes though.

*pervy grin* Ah, just kidding. Most parties there sound a bit like Dream (local gaming club).

All we do at our sleepovers is play gory video games, watch horror movies ( and sometimes romance if I can get them to), play card games with M&Ms, topped off with bugging people in chatrooms with suggestive remarks (sarah's specialty) under the username IAMDAVIDBOWIE. or IREALLYAMDAVIDBOWIE if that's already taken. It's a blast.

Sounds cool, I think. I also have a side for romance, dunno why. The sppier the better oftentimes.

Yeah, I have a soft spot for those sometimes. But, I do like the one's that are kinda comedies too. Always good.
