Yep, they are, RF. They look a lot cooler, I think

Rednecks are a pretty cool bunch for the most part. Sounds like you're having a good enough time, so good luck and all that jazz.

Well, I just got back from a huge back to school shopping trip. Picked up Fruits Baskets vol. 2. I also saw that book you mentioned (Battle Royale) at a Barnes and Noble, so I bought that too. I look forward to reading it.:)
I am so tired; when I wasn't helping my little brother pick out school clothes, I was chasing my four year old sister and seven year old cousin around the mall; I can't wait to turn in.At least I got to try a Decaf soy carmel frappacuino *mouth waters*. May not sound too appetizing, but for someone who hasn't had a reg. one in...forever, it was heaven. :classic:

Oh, and hi again, 003. Glad to see you're liking college.

allright :) you got battle royale!! great book at least i think so...also check out the manga and live action movie lol :P (sounds like a marketing ploy...hmmm)

Yes, indeed, glad to hear your selections. And siblings are quite the hassle at times, I know the feeling. My sister is just about to start middle school and she woke me up at 2 AM tody asking "Are the 8th graders gonna beat me up?"

As far as Starbucks-type things go, I can't live without my chai. Preferabally in hot tea form.

Theres a manga and a movie of it too? Hmmm...If I like the book, I might have to look into those. Though, movies based on books sometimes aren't that great; just look at "The Man Who Fell to Earth".

Sounds like you have a good bond with your sister. My little brother is starting middle school this year as well, but, many times, he won't give me the time of day. He's the sort of kid that'll tell you off for looking at him wrong (coming from experiance). But I'm pretty close with my little sister, and my cousin.

The movie is pretty good, just doesn't go into as much depth with the characters. The manga is really good as far as I can tell, it goes into a bit more depth as far as I can tell.

Anyway, I'd like to think so about my sister, but I do wonder at times.

I bet the movie's gory though. I doesn't bug me as long as it's realistic; not like "Kill Bill" where everytime someone was cut or shot blood spurted out everywhere instead of just pouring out naturally(Yeah, sounds dumb, but it just bugs me).

So, are you enjoying your last days of freedom?

As much as they can be. Spent yesterday with friends, got some bike maintenence planned for today.

Bike maintenence? Riding it to school? I've never had to do that, thankfully. In fact, I should get my provisional in January, so I can drive to school starting then. (yay!)

Nah, I don't want to see it mangled. People at my school have a nasty habit of doing that. I do mountain biking, but I busted a few spokes a while back and my wheel got loose. Finally got around to fixing it up today.

I haven't been biking since I was around seven. I probably would have, but I got too tall for my bike and my parents just never replaced it.

On a different note, I'm having a hard time getting my sleeping schedule straight. I would stay up till 8:00 in the morning and sleep in till 5:00 in the afternoon if I let myself. I have some sleeping pills, but I'm hesitant to use them since, with my weak stomache, it might make me sick, or I might become dependant on them.

I have a nasty habit of night owl-ish ness as well. It can be a problem, particularly during the school year.

Yeah, and it might have been a big problem for me last year; luckily, since our classes were so long, I usually had at least an extra 30 min. in english class where I could sneak in a nap; not a problem for me since I don't snore or drool or anything.

My teacher just said "Sleep in my class and I won't disturb you" Turned out to be a problem when I slept straight through my second period.

:D LOL.Our bell is so blood curdling that noone could sleep through it, luckily. Otherwise, I would have probably in that position at least once.

Of course, that was second period; had I decided to sleep in first (my french class), I think my teacher would've gone mental.

I suppose a lighter sleeper would wake up at out bell but it takes nothing short of a nuclear blast to wake me up when I'm asleep.

Eeek...glad I'm not that heavy of a sleeper. Sometimes my class mates would poke me or something to see if I was really asleep. That only happened a few times before they realized that I couldn't sleep through that, and I woke up slightly angry. Of course, truthfully, I don't think my teacher cared if I did sleep, or if they did make fun of me; after all, as long as our work was done well, she was happy.

I'm glad of it sometimes. I can't get back to sleep if I'm interrupted in the middles of it so it's nice that I can do that around my family.

I have to be really tired to go to sleep around my family, otherwise all I here is "Sam, Sam? Are you awake sam? Sam's going to sleep! Get up, get up!"
