Why would you want to have him remove himself if they attack it with a weak Flip Effect Monster to get it out of the way, if he isn't destroyed then it's stupid to make both monster removed, the Assilant is much better.
He still can't overshadow anything because he's not out yet, and he can't beatstick anyway, the Assailant can at least, go a little beatdown, and plus you can keep him in attack because the opponet would have there monsters attack him, that is unless there dumb, or there really tired and not think or something.
I almost forgot, that this is a new week, and since no one has posted I'll just edit this one. New card.

As long as this card remains face up on the field, negate the effects of Effect Monsters destroyed by Fiend-Type monsters on your side of the field as a result of battle. This card cannont be special summoned form the Graveyard.
This card is a beast, the only downside is once he's sent to the Graveyard he stays there until someone uses the mighty Reset Button (aka Fiber Jar). So he's a beatstick with a really minor downside, so he get's a 9.9/10. :D
