Is there anyone you look up to? Someone who you think is amazing, successful and you envy them because of it?

    A little something about me...
My Korean name is Sung. Sung means "to idolize or become a hero for" That is why I am obsessed with heroism, and honor, and whatnot. I also use "hero" in my username almost everywhere.

Well, now that I got that out, Who do you Idolize? (yourself can be an option)

My heroes are my favourite composers (Rachmaninoff, Chopin, etc.) and anyone else who did good in the world.
Lumine is also my hero =P

You are my hero too =P

Hmmm well I used to idolize Spiderman (lulz) and Eric Clapton.. but as for now probably John Mayer.

No idol, but there are people I use as good examples, mostly my parents. I think you can interpret idol in different ways...

not idols per se, but there are a lot of people I look up too or am quite impressed by
    Marshall Faulk is one
Former runningback for the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams
He was a great player, and a great person. he was one of the best athletes in the league, but he was not overly cocky or a showoff. He voluntarily had his salary cut in half near the end of his career so that the team had more money for other players
he was just a class act guy all around

I don't really believe in idols, to be honest. I'd much rather concentrate on striving to be my own idol rather than waste time trying to be somebody else. D:

That's too bad, I've never thought of as an idol as someone you strive to be but more of someone you can look up to for guidance if you feel you need it. That or someone who can set a good example for you that would help you in the future.

So after saying that, I don't have one peticular idols, rather a bunch of people I admire for certain things and certain messages they've given. No one can cover everything though.

Alexi Laiho for being the fastest guitarist currently alive, and managing to pull of this metrosexual look, maintaining his level of badass-ness.

Oh, and from PC, Im'a have to go with Nightofshadow for that post she made like, 3 days ago out of nowhere.

You took what I had in my mind and said it in a much kinder way too, thank you. Regrettably, that doesn't make you my idol. ;D

Well, as Australia up there said, I don't look up to others, I mean I accept the fact that there are plenty of others who are more successful than me, and chances are more successful then I ever will be, but I'm not going to let that allow to think of them as 'idols'. /= I usually end up looking down on people rather than looking up to them.

However, if someone does something I like, then I'll be like "Yo mah herro" as a compliment, but they still wouldn't be my hero or idol. ^_^

I idolize the webmaster of the Pokesho website, Soara-sama. He's such a good artist and gives me something to aim for. I will never stop trying to improve until I'm as good/better than him.

I kinda idolize Shinji but I feel I can relate to him more.

Not really. There's no one I really look up to these days at all. I hardly try to improve myself either. :/ I might've idolized my sister, back in the day. I used to want to be like her all the time... except without her flaws. 8D

I've never really looked up to anyone...I don't want to be like someone else; just myself D:

Well, one person who does give me inspiration is Walt Disney...even though he's dead could you say he's my idol? ^-^ He's made so many people happy even though he went bankrupt like, three times and got his ideas taken away from him more than once! Hence, I do want to achieve something like he did; doing something in the Disney Corporation is really my dream job in life. He's changed my life and I want to be part of that experience with others.<3

Freddie Mercury, plain and simple, is the biggest vocal inspiration to me that I've ever had.

    If anyone, that's it.

I idolize no-one. I do not look up to anyone. There is nobody who I know of I feel is worthy of looking up to.

There are people I admire, but don't idolize or follow.

I have to say my dad and brother.
Thier not afraid to speak thier minds.

^ best band ever, I must say.
    Especially "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Nope. I haven't found anyone to idolize. What about you Piggedy Pig?

    Piggedy Pig: *nods*

    Who?

Piggedy Pig: *points at picture of Babe*

    Of course. =D
'nyway, I think I just thought of someone to idolize! Jesus.

Well I look up to my parents, but that's natural considering that they are raising me. Outside of them, I really look up to my Karate instructor. He's really cool, he's really good at what he does, and he takes his teaching job really seriously with out being serious all the time.

I`ll consider Angelina Jolie my idol. She`s so wonderful & such a great person even though she did steal Brad Pitt away from Jennifer Aniston, but whatever. xD
