You can't always get away "Safely"

Okay, so in Emerald Im was going through Meteor Falls when I encountered a Golbat. My Grovyle goes out first and I try to run away. But I cant escape, so Golbat uses confuse ray and bite until I finally faint. Then I send out my last pokemon skitty and it leaves my skitty with 10 hp, and confused. I somehow managed to finally get away. But not safely .-. gosh.

Has anything like this happened to you before?

Usually what happens to me early in the game is I can't run away from most pokemon until mine faints, then the mighty Pokemon Gods allow me to run away.

I don't really run from anything, so this isn't really a problem for me. :(

I usually have a Roar or Whirlwind user on my team late game. Those "No Solicitation" items (Fluffy Tail, Poke Doll) are also in my Bag (x5 usually).

No, this has never happened to me I always get away safely on the first time.

Usually happens to me early on in the game. Coincidentally, it's also usually the times where I am trying to rush to a Pokemon Center, so I'm already weakened greatly. :/

Thankfully, this hasn't happened to me yet. I hope it stays that way....

I had a situation like this...I was fighting a Onyx I believe and was left with only a bulmy but managed to get out...but with most of my team fainted...

I've been in similar situation before. Having my Pokemon weak when I encounter a Pokemon like Golbat, I try to run away, but I can't, because that stupid Golbat wants to attack. Got creamed by a wild Pokemon big time. lol
