You find a wallet with 1000 dollars in it

With ID I'd obviously turn it up to police. Without ID...yeah, not sure. I want to say I would keep it but my family values won't allow me to take it. As cheesy as it sounds, lol. My dad's the most upstanding and righteous citizen there is. I can bend myself a bit and be a -little- more practical than him but, in the end, I'm his son. :p I'd probably leave it on the ground. Hope the owner comes back later for it. Or if someone else picks it up - well, nothing to do with me anyway. Not like I earned it. So good for the other guy!

1000 bucks won't be much for me when I get a job anyway >D

A year ago, I'd have been much more likely to give it back. The events of the past few months, I'd be more likely to keep it. Honestly, I'd prioritize my own family and livelihood whilst easing my conciseness with things like "If somebody can just drop a grand, they must have money to burn".

With that said, this is hypothetical. Not sure what I'd do if it actually happened.

That, or they were on their way back from the bank with their rent money :P

Our rental unit only took cash until recently. Someone actually managed to get into the rent slot and steal a bunch of people's rent money. Luckily, mine wasn't taken (we handed it in a lot earlier), but holy bejeebus! The guy made off with 900$x(# of Envelopes) there were in that slot.

SUP is pretty sure it was the new guys that moved in, but meh, no proof. Hopefully they didn't try to double-charge the rent on the units, because that was 100% the owner's fault for making such a flawed deposit system!

No identification? Keep that ♥♥♥♥. I could use $1000 for some new clothes and as an investment for a new car. If the original owner was so careless as to a) not even carry identification and b) not keep better care of the hundreds of dollars in the pocket, then they don't need or deserve it.

I whould Go to A police Station And give the wallet back.
When I Lose My wallet, I Hope people will do the same.

Either return it, as manga said ^^, or..
....i can just donate it for fundraising for the poor and such =D.
1k may not be much but its better than nothing <3
