Your Christmas List :]

I don't make a Christmas list, actually. I guess I just like to make things harder for the people shopping for me. :o

No but seriously, I like for people to surprise me with gifts, and I like to do the same for others (those that want to be surprised, that is). If I already know what I want, I could just go out and buy it myself, couldn't I? I think the presents you receive from others unasked give you a better idea of their perception of you, which is interesting and often touching.
 
A new DSLite (As soon as I moved back in with my family, the younger brothers somehow cracked part of it, so now the lids all flippy floppy, and it pisses me off, though I doubt I'll get it....sucks) I refuse to have a DSi though, I hate the no gameboy slot.

Expensive camera is expensive, my god.

Well, I'm not really one to want a lot at Christmas. I would love whoever buys me a new laptop forever, considering mine is so utterly sucky. But other than that, I don't want anything. Surprises are nice to get, especially from those you love and the two things I want the most - time with my family and time with my boyfriend - I'm getting, so. n3n

I happen to be in need of more pyjamas since before I can recall, and for whatever reason my mother has deemed fit to stall for five months until the 25th of December... -.-
So that's what I'll be getting, but there's nothing I explicitly demand for the occasion.

... because people often receive/give gifts for Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Kings' Day, and various other winter holidays besides Christmas?

I don't celebrate any of these cultural or religious festivals that have nothing to do with my 'culture' and it's likely that Cassino doesn't either.

I am not a Christian and neither are my family, so we don't see any need to celebrate Christmas.

Sure, but there are groups of people who do recognize one or more of these holidays while not celebrating Christmas proper, hence being able to make a list of presents to give or get while not terming it a "Christmas list". not sure if I'm misinterpreting what you're saying or Cassino's question but yeah
