I like SOAD, but there wasn't really..too much on "Toxicity," aside from "Aerials" and that..one song about tapeworms o_O

Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends, hands-down. Old TBS, before John Nolan left, was lyrically engaging and musically brilliant - seriously, check out those counterpoints and harmonies. Plus all the songs just work really well together in an album - it's short but sweet. Not my favourite band, but my favourite album without a doubt.

(1) Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys
(2) Revolver - The Beatles
(3) Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
(4) Led Zeppelin IV (Untitled) - Led Zeppelin
(5) Time - Electric Light Orchestra

There are so many other good albums though (e.g. Bat Out Of Hell I and II, and most Rush albums) that I could have included.

A few honourable mentions should go to modern bands that have made good records (notably The Thrills and The Flaming Lips) but I don't believe that they better the Beatles etc.

Also, Allstories - I agree Ween's The Mollusk is great.

My favourite single ever is The Beach Boys' God Only Knows.

From 2005, every song is great in its own way. Gotta adore The Coast Is Always Changing and Acrobat.
