Kanto: Charmander
Joto: Cyndaquil
Hoen: Torchic (no i do nut liek mudkipz)
Shino: Not played

Overall: Cyndaquil


Yes, I am perfectly aware they're all Fire types.
 
In order of region:

Kanto: Charmander
Johto: Cyndaquil
Hoenn: Torchic
Sinnoh: Chimchar

(Well what did you all expect from me? :P)
 
It's hard to decide and depends on my mood... Right now I'd say:

Kanto: Bulbasaur
Jhoto: Totodile... Or Cyndaquil
Hoenn: Torchic
Sinnoh: None of 'em; I hate the little trio!

I'm a Cyndaquil-fan at heart, but I also love pretty much all the other starters... Except the Sinnoh ones. None of their designs stick out to me, and if you ask me they could have all been a lot better.
 
My favorite starters are:
Kanto: Bulbasaur
Johto: Chikorita or Totodile
Hoenn: Treecko
Sinnoh: If I had to choose, it would be Turtwig


I like all of the grass types and I think they are the best. My favorite region trio is Johto, by far.
