Your First Episode?

I can't really remember the episode name. Anyone remember that one episode where Ash, Brock, Misty and their Pokemon were surfing and they see a Jigglypuff and they swim away in horror. Because it was going to sing. I think that was my first episode.

Been watching from the start, from memory it was aired on cheez tv (an old cartoon morning show in Australia).
 
Challenge of the Samurai was the first episode I watched. I actually found it halfway through the episode and the first episode I watched all the way through was the next one, Showdown at Pewter City.
 
The Problem with Paras....the anime wasn't broadcast in my area until Kids WB picked it up, so that was my first chance to see it, although I was aware if it via game magazines.
 
My first episode was "The battling eevee brothers". I wasn't interested in the pokemon anime or the games at first and then I saw an eevee for the first time and I totally fell in love with this very cute pokemon. I started playing the game because of that ^^°

This. All I know is that I watched it on UPN-TV at one point (Channel 20)...and I was watching it before the move to Kids WB.

I really hate how I can't recall the "first episode ever watched" for a lot of my childhood franchises, namely Pokemon, Power Rangers, and Digimon. All I recall of my first Digimon episode is browsing through the channels one day, only to randomly witness the fiery moment of Greymon opening his maw and unleashing the devastating Nova Blast attack. That's all I needed to get me hooked.

Regarding Pokemon, I've skipped a lot of episodes, with the latter DP era being the era where I've missed the most episodes. Fortunately, I was able to catch the Best Wishes dub episodes EP001 and EP002 on premiere day, so hopefully I can do better with this series. :)
 
Battle Aboard the St. Ann if I recall correctly.

Over here in England, the channel that showed it ITV (CITV) made a big fuss about the show... only to then show the wrong first episode. doh!

I remember it was intriguing and I wanted to see more but it was hard to follow because of course I didn't really understand what Pokemon were.
 
My first episode was the first episode. And I watched Pokemon up until he went to Hoenn, because back then I didn't consider R/S/E Pokemon games nor did I consider the 3rd gen Pokemon actual Pokemon. Then I watched some Sinnoh league, then I kinda just stopped watching altogether. Until Black and White. Now I'm going to try to watch all the B/W episodes.
 
My first episode was...well the first epsiode. I remember we had "Pokemon, I Choose You" on tape and i watched it everyday
 
The first episode I watched was the first episode that came out. Rented the VHS from Blockbuster the day after I got Pokemon Blue and a Gameboy.

The first episode I ever watched was Primeape Goes Bananas when it first came out. That's how Mankey and Primeape became my favorite Pokemon.
 
my first episode had to have been the first one too, when ash got pikachu, I remember pikachu didn't even like ash until he risked himself to save it, I think that was about the time team rocket began their endless quest to kidnap pikachu as well

even if team rocket was successful in stealing pikachu, how would they even get it to obey them?

My first episode was "Pikachu, I Choose You!" <3

I remember we knew someone who worked for Pokémon or something like that, because he gave us like, the entire Indigo League series, I remember all of them. xD
