All the shinies I have gotten are from others

My first shiny was my first successful Poke Radar attempt; West Sea Shellos. Route 205, South.

I got 12 of them. =D
 
My first D/P/PL shiny was an Unown(H). I was stupid and deleted that data though. T.T
I'll find another shiny soon enough.
 
Found Cresselia in my Platinum to be shiny. Still working on weakening it.
First encountered with a Calm Xatu.

Thats it. No common shinies as yet. And I refuse to radar for them.
 
My first shiny was A shiny ummm i forgot the one that is the pre evolved form of piloswine... that one yeah in pokemon gold in the cave! (Ice path)
 
First shiny in 4th gen was a Buneary in Pearl. Not long after, Ponyta. Both obtained while traveling through (i.e., no chaining involved) I've seen none since, not that I'm looking especially hard for them.
 
In diamond i found a starly and caught it but i ended up trading it n but i also saw a yanma in the great marsh but it fled

I remember it like it was yesterday.
My first shiny was Piplup, I was trying to breed Piplup with a couple of egg moves and it happened to hatch as a shiny.
Wow..
 
After finally knowing the location of where Gligar was found in Pearl, I went to go chain one and after my 2nd one I ran into a shiny one and caught it =)

not counting the red gyarados, I once caught a blue trapinch. It was there, i was just saving it and then...the batteries on my game boy ran out (what the hell, people) :'-(
 
my first shiny was a gulpin on my sapphire, then i got a shiny steelix on my diamond and just yesterday i got a shiny finneon on route 217 :)
 
I was going through that small cave near Jubilife, and I engaged in a battle. The Pokemon was a Shiny Geodude.

Diamond: At the start of the game (Just after I bought PokeBalls I ran into a Shiny Starly (I used it of course =D)
 
First shiny was a Vaporeon I traded for. I have YET to see one in game. D= Ugh lol.
 
My first Shiny was a Rattata from Fire Red. My first in Pearl was a Shinx. I've since gotten a Growlithe and Farfetch'd
 
Oh sheesh. I can't understand why some of you have That many shinies. I mean it must have taken forever to catch/trade 'em.

As for me, still haven't caught at least one.
