Your first Shiny?

My first and second shinies were both on my first Ruby game. I remember they were a shiny Zubat and a shiny Duskull, and they were pretty awesome! Unfortunately, my file got corrupted and I lost them, so that's not as cool.
 
My first (and so far only) shiny is a Krookodile, evolved from a Sandile. It was found by pure chance- I wandered into Route 4 to catch myself a Darumaka in my White 2, and my first encounter was the shiny Sandile. I was running around the house screaming in joy afterwards.
 
My first seen and first caught was a Zubat in Leaf Green. I looked it up online (I'd never even caught a Zubat before) and found out that, if it was happy enough, it evolved into this thing called Crobat that had good stats and could learn Fly, so I kept it in my party. I didn't like Golbat much (and still don't) so I was just looking forward to it evolving that much more.

I bet I watched that Golbat start to evolve, then stop, half a dozen times. I tried everything I could think of, but it just wouldn't evolve. I finally gave up and put it in a box.

It wasn't until after I beat the E4 and got the National Dex, and figured out that that meant that a whole bunch of pokemon that hadn't been available before were now, that I had some idea of what the problem was. So I got the Golbat out of the PC and gave it a Rare Candy, and presto - a shiny Crobat. Finally. I used it from then on and was very impressed, and have gone out of my way to catch a good Zubat and evolve it into a Crobat in every game they've been in since.

That particular one currently lives in my Emerald, along with all my other 3rd gen shinies. And I actually caught another shiny Zubat in Diamond, but even though it's got awesome stats, I haven't used it, just because I really prefer shiny Zubat over shiny Crobat.
 
My first shiny - and caught - was a Golduck in Black. I went into battle, and BAM! There it was. I'm lucky I realized it was shiny and caught it...*sighs*...however, I think I may have traded it, or maybe Misty got jealous and stole it. I forgot.
 
The only random shiny I've ever seen was way back in silver version, before I even made it to the lake of rage. It was a mareep, I wasn't really paying attention, just grinding, then I saw it right before it fainted and was like: WTF? It's pink! I didn't realize shinys even existed untill I made it to the red gyrados, I thought my game had glitched or something lol. Actually, now that I think about it, I was using an AR with HG to fill my pokedex with a wild encounter code and when I got to hoothoot it was shiny @_@
 
Lapras way back in Crystal. It was right before my battery died though so he was alive for like a month. :/
 
My first shiny was a Goldbat in Crystal >.>
I was searching for a shiny Ponita
 
Wow...Im just as rare of never seeing a shiny in my life as the shiny Pokemon themselves...

*takes "haven't ever seen a shiny Pokemon"trophy and walks away quietly*

I find this odd because the first one I saw was a shiny Elecktrike in Ruby... Haha what an awesome coincidence! ^-^ I caught it naturally!

Mine was a Dewgong in SoulSilver, but really it's almost impossible to tell the difference between a normal Dewgong and a shiny one.
 
The first shiny Pokemon I have seen is red Gyarados from GSC. Not counting that, shiny Exeggcute in the Safari Zone on FireRed - didn't successfully catch.
 
My first (and only!) shiny was a Golbat on Pokémon Diamond, it was in the grass in one of the snowy routes :)
