Meh. These are just fan characters. I think this thread would belong more in fan works or something....

But it's not. It's just gym speculation for gen VI. Nothing wrong with this thread.

Anyway, I haven't thought ahead about gyms for the next gen considering we're not even close to being done with gen V, but it would be nice to finally have a Dark-Type gym.

I prefer something more like a dual-type gym where every battle is a 2-on-2 battle with 2 type like Water and Fire. Can be a good challenge, imo.

    First Gym: Normal
    Second Gym: Fighting
    Third Gym: Ground
    Fourth Gym: Poison
    Fifth Gym: Water
    Sixth Gym: Fire
    Seventh Gym: Psychic
    Eighth Gym: Dark

Elite Four: Rock, Grass, Electric, and Steel. Champion is multitypes.

    My Elite Four wishlist:

    Name: Marona
    Gender: Female
    Type specialty: Fighting
Description: A female bodybuilder wearing a maroon tanktop and gym shorts, and with reddish-brown hair.

    Name: Mauven
    Gender: Male
    Type specialty: Ghost
Description: An old man with a mauve robe and white hair.

    Name: Amethyo
    Gender: Male
    Type specialty: Psychic
Description: A young psychic with a purple jacket and shirt, and purple hair.

    Name: Rosie
    Gender: Female
    Type specialty: Poison
Description: A female scientist with pink lab coat and chemical-resistant gloves and boots, and pink hair.

Thanks for all the responses, however, could everyone at least list the genders of each Gym Leader? No need to get in such detail like my list, but it would be nice to at least know the genders of each Gym Leader.

Gym 1: Grass (Male Gym Leader)
Gym 2: Ground (Female Gym Leader)
Gym 3: Dark (Male Gym Leader)
Gym 4: Ghost (Female Gym Leader)
Gym 5: Fire (Female Gym Leader)
Gym 6: Dragon (Male Gym Leader)
Gym 7: Psychic (Male Gym Leader)
Gym 8: Variety (Male or Female)

That's what I think for Gen VI.

A Dark Gym would definitely be nice.

I don't especially care about particular types, but rather the placement of them. Like, in the order of Gyms you face. For instance, if there's a Rock Gym, I'd like to see it in the mid or late game, instead of right at the beginning like it always is. It'd be neat to see a more complex Gym design for that Type, and more complex teams, instead of just the same old Onix and Geodude. If there's a Dragon Gym, it'd be interesting earlier on. Not too early, since Dragon is a more advanced Type, but like, sixth or seventh, instead of eighth, since the big dramatic eighth Gym using big dramatic Dragons has been done twice. A late game Normal Gym would be neat, since there are so many Normal Types, and they tend to be very versatile. And maybe a Grass Gym, also later in the game? Grass has only been done in early game Gyms thus far. Early game Gyms could perhaps use Ground or Fire.

I'd like to see some Elite Four types that haven't been used yet. I think that leaves mostly the plain, ordinary sorts of Types. Grass, Electric, Normal, Flying, Poison...? Some of the more elusive and advanced Types would probably have to be included to balance it out, but at least one or two unused Types would be nice.

For gym leaders I'll like to see:
    1) Ground (Female)
    2) Fire (Male)
    3) Water (Female, there hasn't been one since misty way back in Gen I)
    4) Electric (Female, evens up the electric gym leader ratio)
    5) Ice (Female)
    6) Rock (Female)
    7) Steel (Female)
    8) Dark (Male)

    Interesting!

The types I would like are:

Grass, Ground, Fire, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Water & Dark - not in any specific order.

    Spoiler:

First gym psychic type isn't a good idea.It would be hard to defeat.Even if level 15 pokemon or something.
1st gym should be something like water/fire/grass/rock/ground type. You should have something effective against gym leader's pokemon in the 1st gym.Water starter good against ground/rock/fire type ; Grass starter good against water/ground/rock type ; and Fire starter good against grass type only. But something like metal claw would take out rock type pokemon.

The Last and/or 7th gym should always be something unique like dragon/ghost/psychic/dark/ice type.
