I'm going from memory for this, since I don't have most of my collection with me. This is the stuff I have that I know definitely counts as manga:

- Get Backers vol. 1
- Desert Coral vol. 1 & 2
- Fushigi Yuugi vol. 1
- Ranma 1/2 vol. 1
- Inuyasha vol. 1 & 7 (though I'm sure those have been absorbed by now into my sister's much larger Inuyasha collection)
- Fruits Basket vol. 1
- Some Pokemon manga
- About four issues of DBZ (why I got it, I'm not sure)

So many first volumes. :/ I need to actually start getting more volumes for those series.

I started reading Instant Teen this sumer and finished it around Aug which was funny and cool. I recommend it to anybody who wants a short funny manga. Today I started reading Fruits Basket. Looks good.

Interestingly enough, back when I first began collecting manga as a Freshman in High School, I would put my collection in a plastic bag and (playfully, of course) beat friends with it, calling out the words "MANGA SACK SMACK ATTACK!" (This sort of caught on for a short while, around campus and at the Pokemon Zeo forums). The "strength" of the "attack" is not only judged by the sheer volume of manga in the sack, but the kind of manga in the sack. At one time I had written up a scale of strength for the sack, but I believe it was lost long ago. Simply put, weird, horror, and rare manga were the most powerful, and one's sack got a +10 strength bonus for each complete set that was in it. Also, any Japanese manga got a +1 strength bonus over what it would have been if it were in English. Of course, nowadays, even a small chunk of my collection would destroy even a carefully reinforced sack....
