5th Gen Your opinions of B/W Pokémon - Favourites and Least Favourites

All it really needs is Rapid Spin Support, and with butterfly dance it can tear other teams apart, given its powerful movepool and great base 135 SpA. :) If it gets a Butterfly dance up, run.

I think it's pretty powerful enough by itself...itself + a rapid spin knowing ally=Uber strategy...

Don't forget, It also has Flame dance to boost its SpA. In capable hands it can any team wipe out.

Its a favorite of mine more for its typing really, a Bug/Fire is just win.

Definitely my favorite of 5th gen. It's, in my opinion, the best turtle pokemon since blastoise. He's got great defense, good attack and Solid Rock. I think he'll take a place on my team as a Physical Wall.

Finally! A crocodile pokemon! And he looks awesome. With two excellent abilities, great typing, and really balanced base stats, he'll find a spot on my team, I'm sure.

A ghost...jellyfish...AWESOME. He's got great HP and Special Defense, and with that Cursed Body ability, I can see this guy being a seriously obnoxious Special Wall.

He looks awesome. He's Fire/Bug. There's nothing not to love here.

He's basically a mixed Aerodactyl...who looks better. I love this thing. I like that they went with obcure ancient animal designs like prehistoric turtles and the Archaeopteryx for the fossil pokemon this time around. Love this guy.

I like that they went for the Archaeoteryx and the anceint sea turtle too :)
I like the design of the turtle more than Tortera, Torkoal and Blastoise :)

^ I love all of those. :D The only problem is, is that the jellyfish, the new frog, and the ancient turtle are all part water type. :( Can't use all three at once, thus creating a painful decision.

 

[Devil Flamingo]

As you can see I got my Pokemon Black (playing right now!) and I'm already using my faves. I have to say, Gama ("Froggy") is surprisingly good; mine is modest with Swift Swim and as a little tadpole he took out Aloe's dog. Perhaps he has more potential than I initially thought, and it does get Water Absorb in the DW (thus gaining two immunities), which is just awesome. XD

Also, I have new respect for Kurumiru and its line; Bug/Grass may be awful defensively, but my god can that thing spam its douple resistance to Grass and Ground, not to mention its single resistance to Fighting and Water. A grass bug with wicked defenses would come in quite handy indeed, as long as you keep it well away from Fire. XD

Anyways, having actually played the games now, I have to say groundhog and psybat are every bit as annoying as I thought they would be, and unlike Yorterrie, they aren't even good, ugh.

Oh, and I can say beyond a shadow of doubt that I officially despise, detest, hate and loathe Tabunne with every fibre of my being. So glad that thing is rare, because just seeing it on my screen sends me into Primeape mode. It's goddamn annoying because of its defenses, and knows crap like Attract. At least Chansey is cute, and Blissey is a beast, but Tabunne is just a wannabe, and an annoying one at that. Seriously, I can't stand it, eeek. But hey, it could be worse - it could be EVERYWHERE, like cracksquirrel. =_=

Anyhow, I'll post more later when I encounter some of my other faves (we'll see if they live up to the hype like Snake, Centipede and Froggy have thus far :D). I hope I encounter Chinchilla soon, 'cause its evo is growing more and more on me, despite some people disliking it (yeah, it hardly changes, but then again, it's a chinchilla; how much could it have changed, really?).

I used to hate Tabunne too, but when I saw it's sprite it was a done deal. I have to have it. <3 The sprite is the only redeeming quality to me, but it's also extremely tricky. It makes Tabunne look really tiny, but it's actually like.. as big as Chansey. I narrowed down my dislikes, and these are my absolutely most hated designs of Isshu :

What is with this thing's face. It just looks so freaking stupid. I'm glad it's final evolution actually looks like what it's supposed to be, and doesn't resemble this abomination.

Pretty, but wayyy too human-like for my tastes. I'm playing Pokemon, not Digimon.

Okay, so you had an awesomely smug and awesomely awesome snake with limbs. You took that design and ruined it completely by taking away what made Tsutaaja's design so wonderfully cool. Sorry Jarooda fans, it had to be said.

There is one slight flaw in your comment there; they didn't take away all of its limbs when it evolved into Jaroda. Just its legs. More noticeable on its back sprite, you can actually see its two arms, held behind its back.

As for Tabunne, why all the hate? =(
Frankly, I'd much rather use her in a battle than Blissey for the solid fact that she doesn't stink up the battle with ridiculous base HP and Special Defense stats. Her design is better than Chansey's and Blissey's too (much love for the rabbit, I have! <3 ), and I don't understand where the difficulty is in fighting her (in the wild), because I've fought her plenty of times, and defeated her numerous-- even with my Zorua using physical attacks... when its Timid! (and a level below, if I remember correctly)
But that's my opinion; not everyone can like the same things, can they? =)

I seriously love this Pokemon, even though it looks like it is from Nickelodeon, and he and it's Pre-Evolution are basically the Gen V Croagunk & Toxicroak, they have very unique aspects to them and I really love them. I may use one in my Pokemon Black team and eventually competitively.

This Pokemon is also one of my new faves (this week). I've fallen for it's design and I love it's competitive capabilities. Looks more like a Rhino than The Rhyperior family.

This Pokemon is really cute to me, and I think in it's animation that it's tongue is actually fire. It's cool, and I've always loved Anteaters.

I really like this Pokemon, and the way it eats with it's chains remind me of a glowworm. I was surprised to learn it was a pure Ice-type though, it looks like it would be Dark or Ghost but I like it pure Ice.

This Dragon seems to have been neglected but I actually like it's design, until I am reminded of it's horrible shiny sprite. I think it has a lot of Potential to be great if it can get out of its more popular pure Dragon cousin Onokonosu (sp? lol).

I'm actually kind of scared of Tabunne. After seeing how big it really is in the anime, I hate it even more. O_o It TRIES to be cute, but its body seems so disfigured-like. D:

I really want B/W already :(((( I just want to test out all of these awesome pokemon so much.

I find nothing wrong with hardly any of the pokemon the only ones I dislike are Tabuune, and mamepato's final evo. I do not hae the birds design I just hate it's move pool.
