Your trainer character

My character has straightened black hair, a dark purple hat. A white V-neck with a grey stripe. A studded belt with black skinny jeans, a rip at the knee. Black and white checkerboard slip on Vans.

My favourite default male design would be Touya. I just love his clothes. And Leaf as my favourite female.
 
The male protagonist characters are alright, I guess. I never use them so I don't worry too much about them. The female ones are pretty good, though. The only one I wasn't too crazy about was the female one from FRLG (I think her name is Leaf?). She seemed kinda plain to me in comparison to the others. :/ My favourites are probably Ethan and Kris/Lyra.

Although I have to agree with Sydian as well, the rivals always got pretty cool sprites haha. Gary & Silver were especially really well done.
 
If I could design a Trainer.

The boy - I'd make him look like a skater dude or a nerd.

The girl - I'd make her wear bright colours and lots of trendy clothes.
 
I liked Ethan and Lucas's Design and I agree with the Tux and Monocle... Monocles are badass to me... But if it were me Design would be a Dude in Pants and a Black Hoodie With Splatter Art on his Shirt and No Gloves or Hat
