Eh, I'm too used to the overpowered old sets. 4 Bills, 3~4 Prof. Oaks were the norm.
I also remember how my old, ooollldddd cards from the initial printings didn't have any rarity symbols printed on them.

And the pokemon themselves were severely underpowered compared to now, aren't they?

Yes, they were relatively underpowered compared to now. 100 HP used to be the mark of a powerful Pokemon, and now it's the mark of a below average Stage 2.

I've always enjoyed the Yugioh TCG, but as stated in my thread (Yugioh Getting Too Competitive), I haven't been able to properly enjoy it as of late.

I used to lovelovelove the Pokemon TCG game and still have all my cards. Alas, there is no league around here, and noone I know plays the TCG anymore.

Anyways, Yugioh & MTG wins hands down. Pokemon is just to boring for me to play; plus I lost most of my cards a few years back.

That sums it up. Yugioh is much more fun to play.

The Yu-gi-oh TCG was amazing.

The designs on the cards are amazing, and it just seems that it's more fun than Pokemon.

Yu-Gi-Oh costs 1000's of dollars, and thats coming from an ex-player. Pokemon and baseball cards do not.
