They try not to make it that obvious... and it apparently works as I've seen. Sometimes I discuss the episodes with my brother's friends and they don't suspect a thing - and these kids are fairly smart, too. =\
 
Yeah, I know that very well. And I think it's stupid, since its original content isn't fit for kids that age. Well, not in North America anyway. (We have such high standards and everything here - omg. Guns! We can't show little kids that!)

Then again, it's not as if 4Kids has ever really cared. =\ They're just a corporation interested in money like the rest of the world. (If they did care, they would follow Nelvana's example with Cardcaptor Sakura and release their "slaughtered" series uncut on DVD)

Yeah that's the part that bites they absolutely chop some episodes to bits for the little people who watch it I almost shudder to think what they re going to do to the episode where Joey almost dies which they are running next week. oh yeah I forgot to mention WB's now showing 2 new episodes of Yu-gi-oh now on Saturdays yay!

P.S.If any of you guys could find me the song "UNDO" by a group called COOL JOKE I'd really appreciate it.
 
I actually did hear in a few places that they are bringing out some 4 Kids series' uncut on DVD, although whether they really will do this is still yet to be seen. I hope they do though cos it would at least please the older fanbase of the shows they dub.

England is one episode away from the end of the whole Battle City saga, just one more episode to go which should be shown next weekend.
I wonder if we'll get some of the doom saga afterwards, doubt it if it's not going to show in America for a while, though it would be nice to see some of it :p

Ah well maybe Nickolodeon will repeat the battle city/ship episodes, especially the battleship ones cos I missed a LOT of those...
...meaning I missed a lot of Bakura (*Sulks*

...wow. I commend 4kids, then. o.o; Of course, I won't actually be BUYING this, since I can get the HK subs much cheaper (and the subs are always good for a laugh). But you know... it's a good thing. X3 At least now people may be able to see what it's really supposed to be like - legally. o_O;

Canada finished BC a while ago. o_o I haven't been watching though (*hits self* bad!) so I don't know if we've started Doom yet. I figured they'd just wait until next TV season to air it, though, so they don't run out too fast or something. We're catching up fast, it seems. oo; *shrugs* (Or maybe it's just me? @@)

I dont think Doom has started much anywhere yet (well, japan though..) Im only on...what...the jeoy v. malik begining duel...fwaahaa...(and I wanted to enter that world wide championship tournament contest to..)
 
DOOMA arc is kinda boring i do like the gand priex arc a lot more now that i got to see the last ten episodes of it.
 
<_< Doom is pretty boring, I'll give you that. But I've only seen the first 10 episodes of it or so. =\ The best part is the end of the duel between Rapheal and Yami... and the episode after that. XP
 
fancy. I guess the Doom arc is kinda boring..but...I can make it alot funner with fangirl-ness! XD
 
I'm guessing that's the cover for the subbed edition they're bringing out... but then again, I have no idea. =\ It says nothing about original/uncut/subbed version.. or anything on it. Lol... looking at it, I would guess it's just a dubbed and edited box set. XD;

Meh... I don't plan on buying it, though. =\ Maybe if they release the epidodes I actually need I might - you know, to give them money for doing something right. XD;; but since the HK subs are cheaper... well, that's really my driving force. XD;
 
Following the link Blue posted, I found another link stating the DVD is still dubbed English yet the age raiting is 15+ O_o; Weird...

Maybe the "Dubbed in English" part is a mistake....or that they do at least have the episodes in japanese as well as english....who knows....guess the information will get clearer nearer the release...
 
I really need to get the manga or somehow see the whole thing...cuz its kinda confusing when you jump into a series like this ;_; But I've never seen the YuGiOh manga at my Borders... where can I get it?

what's mediaplay I've never heard of it I do know where you might find the manga if you've got a Barns & Nobles bookstore or bookland in your town they always have em or you could ordeer it off the internet *shrugs* I just don't cause I can't.
