Okay, feel free to rip me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Zoroark is like Lucario at all.
First off, Lucario is pseudo-legend, but it isn't like that at all in the games, and it is the same as any other Pokemon. Zoroark/Zorua aren't obtainable in the game in any way, and copy the second Pokemon in your party. Zoroark just seems like a bonus Pokemon to me, and if I'm lucky enough to get the event celebi or legend dog, then I don't think I'll use it.

Okay, here is a problem with people these days...WHY DOES EVERY POKEMON HAVE TO BE LIKE ANOTHER? Cant a Pokemon be unique without it being compared to something else? Seriously! Has there ever been an special event-only Pokemon that evolves? I may be wrong, but I dont think so! Just because it has a cute prevolution and it was released in a similar time to Lucario in relation to their games, it doesnt mean Zoroark is the Lucario of Gen 5...Zoroark is the Zoroark of Gen 5 =/

I don't think so. They're just presented in such a way it seems so. So yeah, nope, sorry dude. If Zoroark was, it would have to be Dark/Fighting to reach that potential.

Also, Lady Gaga, that was unnecessary. I see no reason for you, or anyone else for that matter, to act childish.

Im sorry, but that was not being childish. Sure, I shouldnt have used caps lock in that first sentence, but I was just voicing my opinion, telling it how I saw it. I guess that what you are doing too, telling me what my post was "unnecessary and childish", but that right there is rude. We all have freedom of speech on this forum. I didnt break any rules, so you dont need to bash on me. I dont want to start an argument, but think before you post, k bro?

Maybe it's because they're both "Dog-Looking" and bipedal? pfft
but yeah... i've never really compared a Pokemon to another one
i always look at it for their own personal qualities and traits
    (like Zoroarks' awesome hair XD)
i don't even feel Magikarp and Feebas are similar =P but that's just me
if you want to Compare Zoroark to something... Compare it to Axel from Kingdom Hearts2
kidding, kidding... I'm Kidding!!! geez >.>

well, in my opinion they are a little. being non legendary yet still having a movie about them is a little similar.
but i don't care, i loved lucario any way! :)

I think it's only called that because they have some parallels to each other (lol captain obvious). Game-wise, I don't think Zoroark would be like Lucario.

Why compare Pokémon... it's a little pointless...

Now I'm going to go compare Memepato to Pidgey, Starly and Tailow

    /Sarcasm

do you mean in the way they were revealed? I thought they would be gained in a similar way, since they seemed like a rare, awesome poke but it is disappointing that Zoroark is earned through an event...

    ^ fo' shur.

Anyway, since Zoroark has now developed the near-useless ability of transforming in battle, and we won't get to see what it looks like most of the time we're using it, he's not really the new Lucario. Lucario is, for a start, more useful. :|

Well, Only Zoroark's appearance changes. So it keeps it's typing and moves. If you already knew that, sorry, I just thought that it's pretty useful personally. And we don't know if Zorua is event based. All we know is that Zoroark is, and he may be some kind of... ~~*~*special*~*~~ Zoroark.

I don't see how it's useless. Send Zoroark up against a cresselia and have a toxicroak in the 2nd space of your party, and boom Cresselia uses psychic or whateva NOT EFFECTIVE. Which gives Zoroark 1 turn to kill. Or two. If it's faster.

Also, I cannot see Zoroark fighting in an SSB game. He's too.....hairy.

In the only gameplay video we've seen with Zoroark, he transforms after he has come out. Thus, useless.

I'm not the one who says Zoroark and Lucario are the same, it is just on the internet, the two are being compared a lot, I don't think they're the same!!!!!!!!!!

I can't help it thay made it event only, and they have this rule : One an event Pokemon, always one, meaning that no matter how many games are made, Zorua and Zoraork will be event only for the remainder of eternity (unless the US version lats you get them in-game, as I doubt they will)

I guess the fact that they're now an Event pokémon does set it apart from Lucario...
