Pokemon you hate battling

Golbat depending on my team. Sometimes I don't have anything fast enough to out run it or effective enough to destroy it when I encounter it. Aka mean look, confuse ray, and then air cutter/slash or wing attack to my death.

Bronzong was so ****ing annoying to face in Dppt. I usually only had fire to counter it and if I faced one with heatproof I would cry myself to sleep.

Sawk/Throh... I still don't know which one is which, but I know the short stubby one has insane defenses and the tall one hits so hard. I don't play around when I see them lol.

Wobbuffet only because of shadow tag. GOD ITS SO ANNOYING

Muk serious pain in the ass if I don't have a ground or psychic type on my team WHICH I USUALLY DON'T ROAR

In in-game terms I really hate these Pokemon:

Wobbuffet - It gets especially jarring in X/Y, with the Reflection Cave being full of the darn things. These things tank hits, and can hit for double damage back at you with Counter/Mirror Coat which will likely OHKO you easily. The females look even more silly with that lipstick.

Milotic - It may look beautiful, but a recent random battle on Showdown had me pitted against one where it would keep using Rest if I knocked it low on HP, almost causing a ragequit from me. Granted I didn't have Grass or Electric moves on me, but it was annoying because said Rest strategy kept draining my PP very quickly.

Thundurus - I always have bad experience against them when their Incarnate form keeps spamming Thunder Wave to slow down and cripple my entire team. In fact, speaking of Prankster users...

Whimsicott - It's cute, but it learns lots of debilitating moves typical for Grass-types. Sableye is just as annoying, but it's not as defensively strong.

Sturdy post-5th Gen - Seriously, why did they turn this ability into a Focus Sash effect? It now like guarantees things like Graveler will explode on you, and you have to resort to strategies like starting with a weak attack or passive damage move just to chip off some of its health so you can take it out afterwards. Fighting certain things got much scarier thanks to this mechanic change.

Anything with Sturdy. I thought this manky ability was nerfed to its pre-5th gen effect but clearly that wasn't the case. Oh and Mega-anything. Complete game-breakers imo. I don't like fighting them online, especially when they get 1,001 criticals and you can barely land a hit.

I forgot to mention this in my previous post, but Pokémon with Prankster also tend to be pretty annoying at times.

Whether we run into them in the wild or battling against them while having a match with an NPC or someone online, dealing with them is a little tough; their ability allows them to out-speed us in every way possible when using non-damaging attacks--Thunder Wave, for example--causing us to become crippled before we get chance to do anything.

One of the best way to deal with Pokémon like these, I believe, is having something with Prankster on our own team--something that has more-than-average Speed stat, so that it would be able to outrun other Pranksters.

I am very surprised no one has brought up hawlucha haha, it was my worst nightmare in xy. To be fair, i have a bad habbit of having way too many grass types on my team, but flying press was a killer o_o. On a less recent note, chansey and milktank were torture for me back in the day. I mean, who can forget whitney's milk drinking milktank :P

Hawlucha was one I was about to mention, those things are rather strong for the level you can find them at. They're very fast and difficult to get away from, and can even use Roost to really irritate you.

Aside from that, Golbats in pre-Gen V games are so annoying because they feel so much bulkier than they should be, where even regular super-effective attacks sometimes won't OHKO them and then they'll proceed to use Confuse Ray and force me to switch/run.

And in addition to that: Throh and Sawk are absolute nightmares to face in XY when they're used by those obnoxious Black Belts and Battle Girls. That one in the Frost Cavern just about always finds a way to piss me off.

I think most Fighting-type trainers in Kalos are very tough, and that might be why Throh and Sawk are so frightening in those games. I surely remember reading your Wedlocke threads on Marriland and you had a death twice to that infamous Battle Girl in the Frost Cavern. I recall she killed your Florges in your Pokemon Center restrictions X Wedlocke and then she does it again in your No Items X Wedlocke where she killed your Dodrio. Both being killed by that Sawk of hers... ugh.

Also, I really find Burmy annoying to fight since they are likely to spam Protect (this comes thanks to how annoying this one Battle Chateau trainer gets with her Burmy) and drain your PP in the process. In fact, I hate Protect spammers in general.

In-game: I found Floatzel very annoying in X & Y, because his cry makes my ears bleed. Restaurant LeWow had a Floatzel that spammed Protect and kept messing up my perfect Mushroom-streak and there were also Floatzel hordes in the Victory Road (Floatzel's annoying cry ON STEREO). Glad this thing is nowhere to be seen in ORAS.

In Wifi-battles: Talonflame. Let's say I'm a bit of a hipster when it comes to team-building and I don't like using cliched Pokemon like Rotom-Wash, Tyranitar or Heatran, who am I supposed to switch into this thing? Bulky Pokemon like Swampert and Weezing still take way too much damage from Brave Bird and then it just switches out on the next turn to something that forces me to switch out as well.

Just about any bulky Rock type will do.

I guess Rock-types could work, from what I've heard Assault Vest Rhyperior/Tyranitar is actually not bad at all. Still, while I certainly don't think Talonflame is impossible to beat, I can't help but go "ugh, that bird again!" whenever I see him on team preview.

if only GF would release Rock Head Tyrantrum already...

Anything with Sturdy. I'm sorry but no matter what your lv. 13 Geodude shouldn't be able to survive a 4x water attack from my lv. 70+ water type.. Roggenrolas were an especially big pain in B/W and B/W2.

Pelippers were also the bane of my existence in R/S/E. q_q I remember being so annoyed as a kid each time I fought one since they used Protect on their first turn 95% of the time and that was no fun, not when you're training your team. You're going to faint anyway, don't delay it. Siiigh.

Is nobody going to mention Jolteon? Seriously. Screw that.
It always seems to have Double Team and, as someone who doesn't use Mind Reader, Lock-on and other such moves, that never goes well for me. I probably should use them, but I never really use low-accuracy moves - making them feel like more a waste of space than anything else.

Altaria. Takes ages to take down.
also whatever antidote I havent got. I have no fire in my team so it can be a pain to fight those plants an ice, but with my trusty skarmory and aggron its alright.

Something I've written of before; it left such an impression that I still remember it well: A friend's Golurk that would spam Hammer Arm under the effect of Trick Room, so it's like Flame Charge with 100 power boosted by Iron Fist. I don't hate it, though, I think it's actually really cool, and seems pretty unique.

I always keep Aerial Ace or one of its variants on my team. Aerial Ace itself can be taught to monsters for whom Flying is an unusual type (like Absol), so it even has some Hidden Power style utility.

This is the kind of thing that I should really consider doing but never actually do. I kind of just forget that those moves exist, replace them later on and never look back. This is why I end up in these predicaments.

There are a few, but it depends on what I use (as most things in Pokémon). For example, Bronzor can be really annoying in the Sinnoh games because it's fairly resilient and spams confusion.

I like fighting Audinos but they can be annoying with Attract.
