In Emerald I found a routine which should be the one for naming your characther at 080e48a8. Can someone check if I am right, please? I'm trying to undesrstand the meaning of this but I'm new to to ASM so it will take ages... :P

1)What edits did you do to the ROM? Scripting, mapping or what else? 2)I don't think so. Even with big map changes it is still the same game, with same events, same Pokémon, same uninteresting plot.

Grass in towns? Maybe. Grass in abandoned towns sounds like a route with some ruins to me. Pokémon in a farm city are OK, but in a big city they are REALLY out of place. The best thing that comes to my mind is putting them in degraded cities with a low-medium encounter rate and very few people...

So I need ASM... as I thought. Another reason to learn Assembly :D
