I just tried playing on the crappiest red rom ever, which caused the loading time between screens to be half a minute and made the game tweak and finally freeze when I obtained mah squirtle. Getting a proper rom right now, should be freaking awesome.

I'd say Sabrina, but in FireRed/LeafGreen specifically. Usually I did Koga before Sabrina to stall doing Silph Co, and after the first generation Bite is a dark move. So my now overleveled Blatoise owned it up with Bite.

A good hack wouldn't be too hard but not too easy. It shouldn't be confusing, you don't want to get lost all the time, but at the same time not too linear. Pretty much my advice is find a good balance between everything. Even a storyline can become overcomplicated, and besides we want to KO...

I never actually got Crystal so I'm going with Gold because it doesn't have a legendary pokemon that sounds like "loogy".

Psh, teams are weak. You can just use your starter pokemon and get it to like level 80 and own it up. But usually I'll get other pokemon for HMs and stuff and get something like... Feraligatr - 80ish Pidgey - 3 Bellsprout - 4 Geodude - 5 Togepi - 5? I forget. Psyduck 22ish
