You should tell them. Make a little drama in your teenage years just as everybody else did in theirs so you can go on whining for the rest of your life.
In case you didn't catch it, I was kidding.
I always love a good read, and I'd always rather get on a forum and watch people argue over religion, politics, and grammar than I would read a Stephen King book.
I can't keep up with any of you because every time I come across one of NaturoActor's posts I have to deal with "your" three times in a sentence when it should be "you're".
Don't we all just love disagreeing and arguing with each other? That's how the world should always be. More wars.
Don't you all just love the discussion of politics? Now let's talk about religion mixed in with the politics. I believe God wants the United States of America to rule over the rest of the world so we can all be part of our nice little government.
We may not have won the whole war, but we sure put a stop to Japan being a participant. I find it funny how it had such a major affect on them, too. You take any picture in Japan and everybody is showing a peace sign with their fingers.
That ol' Russia stopped the Germans.
Everybody knows that the United States of America is to spread across the world so we can create one huge republic and all end world hunger together and force everybody to be Catholic.
Edit: I suppose I shouldn't forget my sarcasm tags, though.
^ That's how I hear people saying it more and more often now. The reason it is in the pledge is because the nation was founded under God. If you don't want to say it that way then that's fine with me, but they shouldn't just stop the pledge in schools... Just in case you were wondering, I didn't...
When I was in my school we always said the pledge every morning and had a moment of silence right afterward. According to my brother and sister, they still do it. I had no idea they didn't say the pledge in so many schools.
