I don't think it means you have to take it literally from the point of view that you are the one doing the lying... Let's assume others have never done any bad deeds; then to everyone else, if you do one bad deed, it could very well mean you are more likely than the others to do a worse deed...

I don't usually buy many things at once cos I know I'll have to walk home with them. Most of the time I just shove my things inside my bag or carry it if it won't fit, but if another bag is neccessary I use a plastic one o.o
